Devan just about jumped out of her skin. "Oh, gosh! Oh... Okay, it's you." She reached up to cover her purple lip and her eyes dropped to the ground as she continued walking. "Did your first day go alright?"

Devan shook her head. "I'm fine. Just a little tired, that's all."

"so what are you up to now?" romulous asked. he hoped he would be able to do something with her

"Hm? Oh, I'm going home." Devan smiled at him kindly, blushing at the thought of showing her busted lip. "What about you?"

"same here. well ill see you later."he turned and started home. "might want to put some ice on your lip. dont want your pretty face bruised." he said over his shoulder

Devan opened her mouth to respond, but her face flushed red and she clamped it shut again. "Uhum..." she breathed. "Wha... Wait, hey, Romulous! Hang on a second!"
