Jay blinked at the bright sunlight and his alarm going off. He his snooze on the alarm clock too lazy to dismiss it so it wouldn't go off 5 minutes later. He laid in bed and reached trying to close his curtains from his bed. He had never turned his alarm clock off and it continued going off every morning Monday through Friday. He always told himslef he'd do it tomorrow but never did. He closed his eyes ignoring the stupid sunlight that refused to let him sleep in on Saturday morning.

Kayla woke up to the sun and sighed crawling out of bed reluctantly. She walked down the stairs and made a piece of toast for herself and her little sister who was sitting at the table. She set her sister's on a plate but kept hers in her hand. She watched her sister eat happily for a minute then walked up stairs and changing into our of her sweats. She knew she had to do a few errands for her mom today and let out a long sigh.

Nadia, with careful eyes, watched the sun rise into the sky and shine brightly like it always did every morning around six o'clock through seven in the morning. She loved to watch the sun cause it was truly beautiful, especially on days like this, where it was warm, but not blazing hot. Just right. Her eyes had finally closed and her hands had tucked her curtain up so it would not shadow the room. She actually enjoyed the sun and all of it's warmth. It never woke her, she did herself, getting used to waking up early and staying up. She was busy, practicing her bass in the basement on early Saturday mornings when her sisters and brothers would sleep over a friends house and when her parents would be to wasted to even make it back to the house. Although it wasn't often, she enjoyed the silence and the peace she got from it all.

Kayla walked up to her room and grabbed her drumsticks. Her dad, who she rearely ever saw anymore, had left her mother when she was 3. He had money, a very successful business man he was, he went left her mom and fell in love with another woman. He lived in another state and she never saw him. He had attmepted to visit a few times before but it was usually awkward. One of the few things he had done for her was giving her room soundproof walls. She lvoed being able to play her drums as loud as she wanted without disturbing other family members.

Jay got up after his mom came in and yelled at him. He wasn't sure if she was clean and got up just in case. She got violent occasionally but he didn't want to take chances. He went downstairs and got a glass of orange juice drinking it slowly. He walked back up and slipped on some shoes. He was going to go for a walk in the fresh morning air.

He stepped into the shower, letting the water fall across him quickly, slowly, like some kind of dream that he could not yet be waken from. He did actually sing in the shower, something that seemed a little irregular to his gender, but he did it anyways. He thought it sounded better, echoing off the walls because the sound waves were unable to be absorbed by anything soft and squishy. After he was done a towel had been wrapped around his waist and one thrown over his head as well just to keep the water from dripping down his back.

Kayla began playing the drums not afraid of waking anyone up or annoying anyone either. Maybe her dad wasn't all bed, this may be one of her top favorite gifts from him. Her drumset was blue camoflauge and she had saved up for a year and bought it herself to pursue her dream of being a drummer. She loved music and the drums always kept the beat which she liked the consept of. She kept the beat for her band-members.

Jay slipped on his leather jacket then walked out the door ignoring his mom who was sitting in the living room. He checked his phone for the time and set off walking. He was hoping to get a car soon but hadn't saved up quite that much money. He had had the choice between an electric guitar or car and he chose his passion, music. He loved playing the guitar, any type of music. He had taught himself to play when he was 7 years old.
