Seth grinned, "See ya later beautiful." he chuckled as Dane jumped on.

Dane sighed, "Whatever, love." he stated and rode off.

"As if." Snorted Claire in reply, watching the two go before following Adelie's lead and swiftly trotting forward. After a few minutes of mindlessly wandering around Adelie finally gave up and stopped at on of the houses Dane had pointed out, tiredly getting off and knocking on the door to it.

A small child, a little girl, opened the door. "Daddy....." she whined and a man that looked a little like Dane opened the door. "Who're you?"

Adelie paused in alarm when Claire uneasily started backing up and glancing around wildly. She swiftly calmed the horse down before nervously glancing back at the man, "I n-needed somewhere to stay until morning. My horse ran off and I had to go and find her.. This man.. Er- Vampire directed me here and said the owner knew him.. He said that I could stay in one of I pleased, I'm sorry to be a bother." She breathed swiftly, stepping back.

The man held his hands up, "It's fine, the boy was right. His name is Dane by the way-"

The little girl brightened up and jumped around, "Danny!" she giggled.

The father chuckled, "I'm Matthew, I can take you're horse to the stables and you can come in and have a seat. There're leftovers on the table."

Adelie nodded in slight hesitance, "Thanks." She sighed softly, frowning lightly when she watched Claire snort in alarm and take a few steps away from Matthew.

Matthew held out an apple, "Easy girl, I'mnot a vamp or anything. Relax."

Claire frowned hesitantly, pausing when she saw the apple and taking a small step forward. She tipped her head softly and sniffed at the apple before hesitantly taking it from his hand and eating it.

Matthew smiled before leading her towards the stalls.

Claire hesitated before she slowly glanced back at Adilie when she went inside. Shaking her head slowly she trotted after Matthew.
