Dane noticed a girl with her horse, he dismounted his black horse and gave a whistle like an owl before slowly advancing towards her. His horse, Seth, trotted towards the other horse. He gently nuzzled her in attempt to lure her away.

Claire narrowed her eyes at Seth and shook her head stubbornly. She flinched in alarm when Dane started towards her master before immediately rushing infront of the girl and rearing back on her hind legs before dropping back down in an attempt to stomp Dane. "Get away!" The horse whinnied in alarm, staying protectively infront of the shocked Adelie and repeating the words even though she knew well Dane couldn't understand her.

Dane tried to dodge the horse's hooves, he swore curses that even he knew he deserved slapped for. His eyes glowed an icy blue and were about the only thing you could see of him.

Seth glared but watched Dane in amusement, "Poor bas-ard." he mused.

Adelie frowned coldly, not bothering to stop Claire as the horse lingered protectively ahead of her body. She reassuringly rubbed Claire's side with glared at Dane with a cold sneer at her lips. "P-ss off, won't you? I've certainly no intention of letting an idiotic vampire take my life, aim for someone dumber." She growled, not really scared at Dane as she watched Claire continue to angrily stomp at Dane's form.

Dane paused a moment, moving only to dodge the hooves. "Honestly I try not to kill people, that usually only happens when I'm drunk and obviously I'm not drunk considering the fact my brains haven't been splattered all over the ground from your violent horse." he stated calmly before swiftly moving behind her, putting rough hands on her shoulders.

Seth looked at Claire, "How's that working for you there, beautiful?"

Adeline narrowed his dark eyes in annoyance, snorting in disgust when he touched her before jabbing him in the stomach with her elbow, clearly she was a bit more tomboyish then all of the other girls around.. Especially since they didn't really bother to learn to fight like she had. "Piss off!" She spat swiftly, yanking from his grasp and swinging around to glare at him.

Claire glared over at Seth and snorted, "Better then doing nothing." She grumbled, shaking out her black and white mane. She sighed lowly and shook her head dismissively up at Seth, much shorter than the horse.

Seth shrugged, "Whatever."

Dane grunted slightly, "You're really starting to tick me off, love." he hissed and watched her wearily.

Claire sighed lowly and took a step back from the two, head low as she watched them.

Adelie snorted, "Well what do you know- We both have the same feelings for each other." She sneered in annoyance, stepping back and glaring coldly up at Dane.

Seth grinned at Adelie, "I like her."

Dane scowled, "You know what, fine. There's two houses a mile or two from here, the owners both know me. Stay and whichever one you please." he sighed and headed towards Seth.

Claire laughed lightly and nodded in agreement.

Adelie narrowed her eyes, "The hell I will." She grumbled under his breath, watching Claire swiftly go to her. Adelie gently rubbed the horses muzzle before getting on.
