Vlad grinned, "Grilled cheese or chicken?"

Valentina smiled, "Grilled cheese." She answered calmly.

Vlad smiled , "You said you wanted to make it."

"I'm not good at cooking, though. I always burn food." She said with a shrug, standing on her toes to reach the cabinet and get some bread out.

Vlad got the cheese out for her, "Just try."

Valentina shrugged hesitantly and got out a pan to cook on."If you say so.."

Vlad smiled, "It won't burn, promise."

Valentina nodded, "Alright.." she sighed, turning on the eye and letting the pan warm up.

Vlad smiled softly and kissed the top of her head.

Valentina smiled softly, putting a piece of bread on the pan once it was warm before putting a piece of cheese in it and then another piece of bread.

Alice stretched softly, listening to the two in interest as she drew of detailed picture of a grown German short haired pointer, one looking much like Bayard but older and pointing at a bird, hidden by tall and winding golden grass.
