More like you should try by the stream. What good am I? Not sure. You should've thought of that when you decided to make me tag along on this sort of patrol. Pathetic mouse-brain. And as much as he wanted to say it himself, Deadnose bit his tongue on the situation, keeping his eyes forward, but ears pinned back as he kept moving forward.
Eaglepaw's ears pinned back in aggression as he spoke of the pairing of him and Drizzlepaw. "I'd faster mate with a rock rather than her." he grunted, eyes rolling at the she-cat. "Or in fact, I know something I'd even rather mate with than a rock; you. Worse thing out there." shrugged the Tom, tail tip twitching angrily. Just see how far this'll get her when I'm leader. She'll wish she never decided to stick me with that horrid excuse for a cat.

Although Wrenflutter was quiet as she picked and ate her piece of prey, Rapidsplash was just as loud and proud as ever. "My my my, what's got your tail in a twist, Halfstripe? Get your pretty little pelt dirty?" he teased, but it was obvious that the she-cat wasn't listening to really anything around her. While she was about half listening, the petite she-cat detected another section of mud on her fur and was in the process of removing it.
It was sort of...amusing to watch her struggle to get the patch off dirt off, but in time, it got boring and the gray Tom decided to pay attention to his meal once again. Swiveling his ears back as a sigh of relief was heard, the tribal-marked Tom glanced over his shoulder, blue eyes narrowing in on the russet and beige she-cat as she looked around, golden eyes shining with embarrassed innocence.
Halfstripe turned her head to look at Gingerbrook, eyes blinking at the fluster that was present in his cheeks. "You okay, Gingerbrook? Feeling sick? You look a tad flustered..." she pointed out, tail curling around her tabby-striped hindleg.

"Sorry, but I don't like to get my paws dirty."
