Ed nodded. "You're not the one being beat up," he said cynically. He kissed her nose and laughed. "I'll get out of here soon and we can go home."

"You are staying in here as long as you need. And that is true, you are getting the bad part of it. I am just stressing because I am constantly worrying about you getting hurt." Alana said as she nuzzled his shoulder, cuddling up to him a little more as she did. "They caught him by the way, maybe we don't have to worry about him after this mess is over."

[Keith-Kogane]

He nodded and leaned his head on hers. "I hope not..." He left the thought unfinished. I hope not because I want to be with you forever.

(I'll be back in a while.)

(Mmmk, I will probably be asleep by the time you come back so night!)

"I hope not either. A life of not having to worry, that will be nice for a change." Alana said as she ran her fingers through his hair like a comb, moving it away from his face. She turned her head a little and gave him a kiss on his upper cheek. "You should really get back to sleep, you must be exhausted from the meds."

[Keith-Kogane]

Ed half-shrugged and yawned. "Yeah, I guess. Let's take a nap." He cuddled close to her and hugged her tight. "Goodnight."

[SulliWolf]

"Goodnight." Alana said with a small smile as he pulled her closer. She snuggled up to him as well, taking a deep breath and relaxing. She closed her eyes and fell asleep a few minutes later.

(TIME LAPSE!)
Ed awoke in the morning and looked down at Alana. He kissed her forehead and smiled. "Good morning..."

Alana woke up slowly, looking up at Edward tiredly. "Oh, morning." She said in a quiet voice with a yawn. "How are you feeling, any better at all?" She asked, looking toward the place he got shot.

[Keith-Kogane]

He reached down and gently touched his side. He winced slightly. "It's fine. When can we get out of here?"

"What? We can't leave yet. You got shot yesterday! And not to mention you almost died and they needed to shock you awake." Alana said, shaking her head. "We aren't leaving until the doctor says we can and until you are better for sure."
