Ed's hand slowly tightened on Alana's, and a small groan cam efrom him. One eye slowly fluttered open and looked to Alana. He tried to talk, but all that came out was a strangled whisper. "I'll never regret meeting you, Alana. I love you more than you know."

(Gotta go for the night.)

His words stung her, making it harder for her to say the next part. "I regret you meeting me, look where you ended up TWICE because of me. I am a danger to you." She used her other hand to stroke his hand that was entwined with hers. She leaned over and kissed his forehead gently and softly. "I am surprised you can even say 'I love you' to me still." She knew he loved her, but she hated him getting hurt because of her. Alana couldn't picture her life without him anymore, he was the only person that ever actually understood her or defended her.

Ed frowned at her, his eyes booring into hers. "I do not care that I've been hurt. I chose to help you so this is my fault. I could have just walked away and let him hurt you, but I didn't." He squeezed her hand and smiled a bit. "I wouldn't have ever chosen a different path."

[SulliWolf]

Alana sighed, slightly at his stubbornness but also somewhat in relief. "Stubborn you are Edward." She said, pushing his hair out of his face. "Looks like we are back where we started once again, this time maybe longer though."

[Keith-Kogane]

He tried to sit up, but almost screamed in pain and fell back again. "I don't care. You're safe for a long time now, and that is all that matters." He scooted over slightly, trying not to wince. He gently pulled her arm, hinting that he wanted her to lie with him.

Alana layed down on the bed next to him like he wanted. "Don't move so much, you are going to hurt yourself." She got a little closer to him but still gave him space so she didn't hurt him. "They had to shock you awake you know." She said with a frown, looking away.

[Keith-Kogane]

Ed's eyes widened, then narrowed. "I... didn't know that." He slowly unbuttoned his gown and looked at his chest. There were 2 large burn marks on it. He sighed and turned to Alana. "You had to watch that, didn't you?"

[SulliWolf]

Alana nodded quietly, looking at the two burn marks. "I really didn't know if you were going to make it this time. The monitor stopped beeping at a moment." She said sadly, putting her hand in his and stroking the top of his hand with her thumb. "Why does all this stuff have to happen to us? We are good people and yet we still get punished for it."

[Keith-Kogane]

Ed put his other arm around Alana and hugged her tightly. "It's because we're the ones that are strong enough to handle it." He leaned down and gently kissed her.

Alana kissed him back for a minute before pulling away a little. "For now we are, I can't handle much more of this anymore. I am just so stressed it is not even funny." She said before giving him another kiss and calming down slightly.
