"What's better than soup when your sick?" Carrie said, smiling

Ed pointed to the kitchen. "There's a bowl and a spoon in the dishwasher. I just cleaned them."

"ok." Carrie smiled. She went into the kitchen, putting the pot of soup on the stove and got a bowl and spoon. She got him a bowl of soup

When Carrie returned, Ed flipped the blanker back so she could sit by him. He took the soup and blew on it, gently taking a bite. "Mmm."

Carrie sat next to him and smiled

Ed quickly finished the soup and set the bowl on an end table. He put his arm around Carrie and hugged her, quickly kissing the top of her head. "Thank you."

Carrie smiled, "Anytime." she said, putting her head on his shoulder

Ed used his left arm to put the blanket over her. He leaned his head on hers and sighed happily.

Ed smiled. "Should I light the fire? Or are you warm enough?" He motioned to the fireplace.
