Spirit flipped the reins back up over his head so Carrie could hold them. Ed wrapped his arms around Carrie and leaned on her back.

Carrie smiled, she clicked her tongue, telling Spirit to trot as she took the reins in hand
Tornado snorted and started wto walk back, waiting for Spirit

Spirit started to trot slowly, trying to be gentle. He followed Tornado.

Tornado snorted and trotted, going to the stables.
Carrie smiled, glancing over her shoulder at Ed

Ed had his eyes closed. The rhythm of Spirit's trot was helping to calm him.

Carrie smiled, but stopped hrself from kssing his forehead. She looked back at where they were going
Tornado whinnied, seeing Ed's house

Spirit walked up to the porch, letting Ed and Carrie off there. He whinnied at Tornado to come into the barn with him where it was warmer. Ed led Carrie inside.

ornado snorted and walked over to the barn, but didn't go inside

Spirit whinnied, "I have some water and food if you want some."
Ed led Carrie to the living room. "Sit here. I'll change." He went up and came back down a few minutes later with dry clothes. His hair was down and still dripping a bit. He sat on the couch and pulled the blanket off the back and sneezed. "Great. I'm sick..."
