He again ignores the movements she makes and jumpy action she does. He had grown used to weird things happening here, and a girl jumping from thoughts in her head was something he'd seen many times while being here. He instead focuses on the subject of his glasses. It was obvious to tell that she had noticed something strange about them, it was amusing how she noticed it but the the psychiatrists. A smile forms at his mouth and he laughs to himself at this. It just proved the the doctors didn't really pay attention to them. "I'm sorry that they bug you." He teases her, and places his hands behind his head as they walk. At her sudden annoyance from his stare, he begins to laugh. It made him think of a very young girl he met in his foster home before, she had gotten so mad at him for randomly stareing at her that she placed her hands against her small little hips and demanded to know what he was doing. "I'm so sorry..." He begins but his voice is lost in his laugh. "It's not you really..." Hopefully she didn't take this as rude, it really wasn't meant to be that way. It was just funny that something from a past memory came up and gave him joy. He leans against the wall so that he can steady himself, and the laughter dies down. Once done, he breathes heavily to catch his breathe. Looking up to her he smirks abit. "You're hair isn't that bad really, just the way you got so defensive." Taking one last heavy breathe he straightens up again and get's ready to walk when she does. "Please forgive my odd behavior." Wow, he was really pushing being nice right now. He has half a mind to take the glasses off so his personality can balance out again.

His words take her by surprise, and she tenses at them. Screams fill her mind, and laughter of the males there dance around her thought. She pulls her legs up into the chair with her, and pulls them against her chest tightly. It didn't matter that her dress wasn't exactly that long today, and might show her underwear, all she could think of was how everything this boy said killed her inside. It was almost exactly what one of the men said to her one day. She resists the urge to cover her ears to block out the noise, because it was in her head and she couldn't block it out even if she tried. Letting a small sigh from her mouth to calm her self, her eyes look much more fragile now and a scared fog is over them. Once she looks at the boy again she shrugs slightly. "Better than a joker, I suppose." This is all she can do without completely breaking down. After a moment of thinking, she blinks. Becoming aware that she had just spoken to him. No, they had just been thoughts in her mind. Her eyes widen as she thinks about this. She had let it slip out, dangit. It was a mistake, she wasn't thinking correctly. Looking around franctically, she notices that none of the workers heard. They were all to busy trying to calm down one of the patients to pay any head of her words. Her words felt different to her somehow. The last time she had spoken, there had been more of a hesitance and failure in it. She was much more timid and scared when she first came here. Now she was more confident, though the string of insecurity was still there. Lingering at the end of every word. She meets the boys eyes again, she had no doubt that he'd keep her talking to himself. Maybe this is what he wanted. Something to hold over her so that she wouldn't tell his cutting secret. Wrapping her arms around her legs, she rests her chin on her knees and stares at him. With that same look she gives most people when she passes by them, a look of hope and happiness.

It wasn't that she hated his glasses but she knew better then to explain because she honestly couldn't. They were just not him but she guessed this was just her imagination going off again. She couldn't help but smile at the boy's little laughing fit and it her turn to laugh at his next comment. He thought he was odd? He honestly didn't know her as she continued to walk with him towards what looked like an run down shed. "They're fine, your fine..." She replied to him about him and his glasses. "Which are you more used to though. Glasses on or off?" She asked curiously not exactly caring if he was laughing her or her hair or something entirely different. She found herself liking his laugh and thought it was a sound she'd liked to her more often around this place. Sometimes the people here just gave up on life itself and let themselves rot away. Erin knew she would too one day when she ran out of things to do here and being locked up for so long would already send her overboard. Though the boy wouldn't know it he had came just in time since she was running low on things to entertain herself with. She wondered if that's why the psychiatrists paired him up with her, so she wouldn't give up on life like a lot of people here had. She wasn't suicidal yet but she always did think about her mother and seeing her again. Thoughts of death were at the very back of her mind now since she had to show the boy places that aren't exactly on the tour. Looking around a few times she stepped into the greenhouse like place and almost instantly her glasses fogged up as she took them off. "We used to have a garden like area here but after the gardener quit....well nature took over." She smiled looking up at the roof and the vines that hung all over. Some plants had even gone through the ceiling and were now basking in the warmth of the suns rays as she looked back to the boy wondering what he thought.

He watched the girl reaction carefully and the words she said went in one ear and out the other. It was almost as if she was pained by what he said but not in the way he had intended and it confused him. He reached out his hand to place on her shoulder but quickly dropped it to his side when someone passes by. The last thing he needed were rumors and lies floating around about him. Despite the fact her eyes hold somewhat happiness in them they all had some sort of pained past since they were all locked up here. "Are you...alright?" He asked in a low tone as if afraid people were listening to them. They probably were and knew the girl most likely won't talk about her past with him or anybody but the look on her face almost scared him. He wondered what her past was like and if he could find things out from other people. He was sure he'd feel better if he knew something about her that he could use against just in case. The fact that she actually did speak to him did sink in but he wasn't too sure if that counted as proper leverage. "You look a bit...spook?" He wasn't too sure if that was the right word to use and looked down at his lap. He wondered if he was responsible for spooking the girl and hoped not. Yes he wasn't to scare her off but had she really done anything wrong? Scaring her away just seemed like the easier way to go. Perhaps he could befriend her into not telling his secret but that would mean talking and if they had anything in common it was neither of them liked being forced into doing that. It wasn't as if he even needed friends and he doubted this girl would even want to after the way he treated her. Was it too much to be asked to be left alone?Looking up at the eyes that were on both him and the girl he realized the closest they get to being alone would be in their rooms. There wasn't much to do in there though other then sleep or read and as much as Mace would prefer locking himself in with those things it was consider 'unhealthy'. He wondered if these talks and little chats were healthy. Maybe if they were allowed some freedom and treated like normal human beings then they'd find much more cooperative patients. That was highly unlikely though as he watched listened to someone's faint screams that drifted down the hall. It seemed like no one blinked an eye though.

He has to think about her question, even after they walk into the greenhouse. He doesn't even notice it, to lost in his own thoughts to really. Did he like it better with his glasses? He was nicer with them on, and could actually have onversations with them. People smiled more around him when he did. Unlike when they were off and people stayed away from him, and he was a jerk to anyone in his sights. Tapping chin once, he makes up his mind and looks up at Erin. "Without." He tells her, leaning against whatever was behind him. People left him alone without them, and he liked scaring people. It gave him something over them. As he begins to close his eyes, that same light appears, except this time it get's brighter and brighter, coming closer toward him. He jumps from his chilled out position and tries to play it off by brushing down his shirt. What was that all about? Once he actually does realize where they are, since he almost tripped over a vine, he blinks slowly and smiles. He just now noticed that his glasses to were fogged up, but he makes no motion to take them off. Funny that even here at mental hell, there was something somewhat pretty to at least look forward to. "Interesting." He chimes, taking a few more steps inside. He only does this so that as he thinks, she won't see his face. What is that light? It's not normal for whenever you close your eyes for a beam of light to come closer and closer to you. He never waited long enough to see what it was or if it crashed into him. Clearing his throat slightly he rolls his shoulders back, then turns slightly to look at her. He sometimes was curious to know if he would go off on her without the glasses keeping him back. Other times he wondered why she was here, she seemed oddly normal enough.

She doesn't yet respond. The noises in her head are still clammering around and it was best for her to stay quiet while they came to a stop. Just by the fact that he actually seemed to care for a moment, calmed her. The way he reached out, it might have just been her imagination, but he didn't seem like he absolutely wanted to scare her out of her wits. She almost responds to him after the noises stop, but she see's the pairs of eyes watching them again and thinks against it. Instead she nods her head to assure him she's fine. Slowly placing her feet back on the ground she has that same forced smile on her face, only there when someone was watching her. Almost as if they expected her to never be scared, or having a bad thought pass through her mind. She knew that many of the doctors knew her from what her psychiatrist said about her, something about her always smiling and so innocent. She wouldn't even kill a fly. Taking a deep breath she turns her body slightly so that the people watching them couldn't see her face. It was only fair that she talk to him now, or atleast it was the right thing to do. "I'm...I'm fine." She insists, but softly. She even lets out a small laugh at her words, to show that really she was perfectly fine. She wasn't use to talking. She wasn't even sure if she remembered how to communicate like a regular person, or even hold a decent conversation. She was probably so deprived from it, she would ask for help if she had too. She finds her self strangely missing the feeling of her voice and actually speaking to someone. She supposes that after so long without something, when you finally use it again you don't want to stop. Someone once told her that her voice was like the bell from the movie The Polar Express. You have to believe that it could do it for it to work, and after you heard it you wanted the sound to continue. The workers wouldn't know of this inncident of her voice, she was sure of that. "It's Kolby by the way. Not..Colly." She says, in a very low tune, looking around just tobe sure no one heard her. She already knew that he had heard what her name was, but she wanted to correct him. The Colly that he used before had made her skin crawl with agitation. Why people messed with her for entertainment was beyond her. Just as long as the noises were gone, and her thoughts were clear of any past experiences.

Erin couldn't help but frown slightly when he said without. She knew there was some thing wrong with them and maybe it was the fact he himself was used to without them. How she knew that though she didn't know and the thoughts drift away. She didn't have time for them as she slowly walked up to him. "Why wear them then?" She asked in a soft tone as if the very sound of her voice would make him run off. Ever so slowly she lifted up her hands to take off his glasses but looked at him as if she were asking is this alright? She knew he didn't want to be touched but technically she wouldn't be touching him but his glasses. Such an action could scare someone off but she didn't think he'd take off for some reason. Still you could never guess a person actions as she stopped her hands mid air, waiting. The look of his face was strange as she cocked her head to the left. It wasn't like the view helped her think but it was just something she did to get a better perspective of things. He looked disturbed or deep in thought and she suddenly wanted to know what was going on in his mind. Almost instantly though he goes against the thought. She already had one voice in her head to deal with and she didn't need to know what the boy was thinking as well. It was probably due to the fact she was about to take off his glasses and she wasn't too sure why she was holding her breath. It was as if time had froze and she strangely liked the feeling before smiling warmly at the boy. She meant him no harm but he only did just meet her so she wouldn't be too surprised if he backed away. One thing was for sure she was acting weird and she wondered if Kebira had taken over her body to purposely scare the boy off. It sounded like something she'd do as she mentally had an argument with the spirit. She somehow manged to speak but her voice was nothing but a bare whisper. "It's not like there's anyone here forcing you to wear them." She joked lightly but inside the angry spirit was waiting patiently for the boy to make one false move. Erin hadn't attack another patient just yet but then again this was the first one she happened to 'socialize' with. She wondered if she'd be able to control the temper that was rising just below surface.

He didn't expect her to actually say something else and just figured the first time she did it was a slip. Instead of listening to her he watched her body language and couldn't help but grin as if all the pieces slipped together. In a way he had figured certain things out and even though her past was still a mystery to him he was pleased with what he saw. Over the years Mace had learned to understand a whole lot more from the way before shifted nervously or eyed things without having to say a word. Some might call it a gift but he never did take much notice of how often he did it till now. "I know...Kolby." He can't help but smirk slightly and tired out her name. He waited for the remaining doctors to to step out of the room and watched the last one walked over to the opposite side of where they sat. "And no your not. By the way you paused I know your lying, the way you laugh tells me your trying to cover something up." Mace lowered his voice knowing that she wouldn't want any one else to hear these things. He leaned in a bit forward so he could speak even softer but still kept a certain distance between. If he was caught too close to her he knew he'd be the one getting in trouble. "I know you despise me and that fact that you corrected me lets me know you don't take much liking to me getting you name wrong either." He pushed his glasses slightly down to get a better look of the girl. Had he spooked her more know by doing this? He hadn't really thought of that and it was almost as if he had no control over his words and all of it just came pouring out. For a while he remained silent before standing up and smiling ever so slightly before answering the thought most people thought of when he did such inspections. "No, I'm not psychic but I can spot a liar from a mile away." He shrugged before heading on out. He was done with this, the girl and these stupid seminars. It was time to get some fresh air as he stepped out into the hall.

He tenses as she comes closer, with the question she has. There was nothing at all funny about this. He wants to tell her about how the glasses help him, well at least his nice side wants to. But then she would ask questions, ones that he didn't have. Why did his magical glasses work this way, he wasn't sure. It was one of the questions he had. No one seemed to know the answer to this, even the doctors who do know his past. This was apparently another thing he had to find out for himself. Ducking under her arm he stands beside her, but facing the other direction. Letting out a slight puff of air from his lips, he glances at her and gives a very fake smile. "Why? Well I'm actually not sure." He looks away now, biting his lip. He would only tell her if she asked. But he was sure that she wouldn't ask. She seemed to only ask questions that somewhat benefited her. Such as the questions he had about his foster parents. "Trust me, you don't want me to take them off. If you really want me to, I will. But I'm afraid you'll slap me if I do." This is all coming from his nice guy side, if it were up to mean him than he would tell her to get off his back and mind her own buisness. What was so wrong with him wearing them but not liking them? You would think that she'd be grateful of him for thinking of her before himself. But no, she wasn't, because she didn't understand. That's why. She would thank him later. Letting out a shaky breathe he steps farther into the Greenhouse. Why should he be so worried about going off on her anyway? It's not like he actually thought of her as a friend, he had been forced to talk to her. It probably had something to do with actually being able to talk to someone, someone who understood things better than the doctors.

After he's gone, she lets out a small laugh to herself. Funny how his first statment was right, but the part about her despising him and him thinking she thought he was a psychic was wrong. Everyone lied about there feelings, infact she was sure that he lied probably everyday about how how he felt, and what he was thinking. He had no reason to get upset that she had made an obvious lie. The rest was wrong, obviously he wasn't as good as a pysychic and he may think he is. Slowing rising to her feet, she begins to walk from the room but is quickly ambushed by her Psychiatrist, Peter. They used first names because they thought it broke down the barrier between patient and doctor. He only looked like he was her age, a young good looking doctor to most of the women here, she didn't see it. He seemed to always be happy, and hopeful. He hadn't lost all will to help the patients like most of the doctors here. She had enjoyed having him, he seemed to make her smile no matter what happened. Until of course he asked her questions about her past, that's when she closed up. As he begins talking to her about her new friend, Mason, she sighs softly and tries to block out his words. Instead she finds herself listening intentally, because she could still hear the echoes of the screams in her mind and would have rathered hear about Mason than anything else. He basically just is excited that she has someone she can finally talk to and that he's asked the teachers and other doctors to keep an eye on her progress. After he's gone, Kolby scratches her head and releases the air she'd been holding. Now she could be alone, free of thoughts from Mason and anything else that haunted her. Maybe now he would leave her alone, and she wouldn't have to talk again.

She let her hands fall back to her side and wasn't too sure what intrigued her more; the reason behind why the boy didn't want to take off his glasses or why he didn't take off. Most people when they spent this much time with her and she did the slightest eerie thing just ran off. A lot of them slowly backed away from her so she wasn't too surprised when he ducked her arm but how he stay in the greenhouse...it was strange. "I'm just..curious." She thought before perching herself up onto one of the glass tables. She dusted away some dirt before seating on top of her hands and smiling at the boy. "No slapping." She told him and showed that her hands were going to stay there. It was a tactic she used a lot when someone was either wearing something shiny or when she wanted to just reach out. She acted on instinct which frighten most people off so sitting on her hands kept her hands to herself. Her eyes left the boy and wandered to the plant beside her as she smiled softly before plucking it. "Fuchsia." She murmured and held out the pink plant to the boy. "You can eat it. There's a tangy taste." She looked back at him and wondered if he'd do it. If he'd trust her. It wasn't exactly safe to trust a person that was boarded her she guessed and popped on of the flowers in her mouth to show him. It couldn't compare to chips or actual human food but there was a flavor. A flavor you couldn't make with chemicals. She looked back up at the boy and expected him to take off now. How was she supposed to be herself around people when she was deemed 'insane'? She knew she was different but didn't think there was anything wrong with it. However if the doctors found out she had been eating flowers from the greenhouse she was sure they'd link it back to her brain somehow. Making up some crap on how it effect her an she'd never hear the end of it.

He had blanced back at her when she Promised to not slap him, this made him smile. He half expected her to sit on them actually. Putting his hands around behind his head he looks around at a few plants. He debates within him self if he should take them off. He was being to nice for his own taste, the only way to balance it out was to take them off. Glancing back at her he tilts his head in the slightest after she eats the plant. "Good?" He asks curiously, as his hand unconsiously drifts to the rim of his glasses. "Give me a piece." He says, sticking out his other hand to her as the glasses slide from his face. He stuffs them into his pocket, but says nothing about it. He wasn't even completely sure that he actually had taken them off. He trusted himself enough not to go off on her, and if that just so happened to be the case, he could pretend like it was a joke and apologize with the glasses. He just wanted to prove that he had more self-control than he thought. He looks around now, for real this time, not just to try and give his eyes something to do. It really was a nice looking little place. As crappy as that might seem. Wow, his taste in places was pretty bad. Well...it made all the stupid people here happy. That's all that mattered really. It seems like the atmosphere around him has changed, it's more intense now. His expression and posture also change. His expression one of dullness, and his posture makes it known to the world that he could care less what someone thought. Funny how the glasses usually kept all of this hidden away. As he still waits with his hand out, he arches a brow, more so to tell her to hurry up. He was never one for someone being slow and not giving him what he wanted as soon as he asked for it. "..If you want me to put my glasses back on, just ask." The nice side of him is still showing, bits and pieces any way. Like the way his eyes shift nervously around. For some reason it felt right to see the boy without his glasses and she just nodded her head slowly. She didn't actually think she'd tell him to put the glasses back on though. They were wrong and she suddenly had an urge to slam her head against something. Maybe it'd wake her up or knock some sense into her. It happened so fast the flashback as the boy just up and disappeared. Her breath became labored once more as she peered through the crack of the cupboard. She bit her hand to stop a scream from escaping and even as the warm metallic taste filled her mouth she clamped onto her skin hard. He couldn't know she was there or she'd be next. She watched her mother cover her head with her hands but that would do little to stop the belt that was coming down on her. "...help knock some sense into ya." She heard her father grumbled before the sound of a door slamming. It was surprising how such a loud and frightening noise had become so comforting. She waited the usual 20 minute before slowly coming out and knelt down beside her mother who was more worried about the stain coming out of the carpet then the bruises all over her body. As Erin got up to bring her a bowl of water and a towel she looked out the window, not too sure why. The car was gone obviously and so was he but he'd be back. He always came back and if they were lucky enough he'd be too drunk and pass out on the couch. Coming back to it she blinked a few times at the boy and quickly turned to pluck another flower. It was just enough seconds to regain herself and smiled when turning back to face him, as if nothing had happened. It was better he think that then get suspicious as she tired to salvage the conversation. Hopefully she hadn't messed anything up. "Like I said, tangy. Leaves sort of a citrus after taste." She shrugged before holding out the pink flower, discarding of the stem. She had thought of just popping it in the boy's mouth but after recent events something told her not too. She had a strong feeling it was the spirit inside of her warning her not to get too close to the boy. He wouldn't harm her though....would he? It was only then did she realize how they really were alone and if she were to scream, no one would hear her. The sudden thought had her placing the flower in his hand before slowly backing away. "W-we should...We s-should head b-back." She began to stammer and avoid his eyes. She never should've made friends with anyone, especially a male as the sound of a belt slapping made her wince slightly. "Please." She closed her eyes and hated how her voice sounded so weak, so terrified. She just hoped he wouldn't think it was because of his glasses and yet they were. Without them this strange tension filled the air and reminded Erin too much of her father.

What exactly happen even Mace didn't know. He was simply catching up on some missed time reading and everything after that seemed like a blur. Maybe the couple was looking for some alone time and didn't think any one would be in the library. He couldn't blame them though beside himself no one really hung out there. He did his best to ignore them and all was going quite well until things got loud. Not loud as in loud enough to alert the guards but loud enough for Mace to hear. At first he just thought about heading back to his room to let the couple squabble but it was the sound of crying that got his attention. He finally followed it to see a boy firmly gripping a girl's wrist as tears rolled down her cheeks. He had her pinned against one of the books selves by the throat so there would be no screaming and Mace just stood there watching for a while. They finally seemed to realize he was there as the boy just shot him a 'mind-your-own-business' look. He would've done just that if it wasn't for the look the girl sent him. When his eyes locked with her's he could practically hear er pleading for him to help. Something inside of him snapped. Maybe it was because the scene was too close to a scene he knew too well or maybe it was due to the fact he was having a bad day. Whatever it was it was enough for something inside of him to be unleashed. He lunged at the boy and in a matter of seconds they were rolling on the ground. The thought that the b*stard might have hurt the girl was what boiled him the most. He soon didn't even realize what he was doing as it came punch after punch. It wasn't as if Mace got away without a couple of bruises and he knew they'd be worse in the morning. The pain always did get worse over time as he soon found himself panting but didn't let the boy go. He knew if he was caught he'd be in some serious trouble but that was at the back of his mind now. All that matter at the moment was making the boy pay. He was like an wild animal completely unaware of his actions but found it strangely comforting, just not caring for once. "How does it feel?" He hissed in the boy's ear, keeping his arm on the boy's throat. He watched him cough and gasp for air, the thought he could very well die by his hand was gone.HE wasn't thinking rationally anymore. He had just snapped. It was all too much sometimes for the eighteen year old to handle.

And now someone is gonna pay.

He notices her now sudden fright and quick movements. It had to be because of something he did. Before she says another word, he quickly nods at her and stuffs the flower into his mouth. He couldn't taste it, or maybe it was because he didn't want to. Either way, he stared at the girl with wide eyes.. Something was wrong, and he had a feeling it was his glasses. Stepping away from his now scared friend, he turns slowly on his heels then begins to walk from the small greenhouse. After he swallows the flower he reaches into his pocket and grabbed his glasses. Partly he wanted her to be frightened, and notice how he changed with them off. No one ever seemed to notice. And sometimes he just needed someone..anyone, to realize what they did for him. With a lazy motion he brings them to his face and lays them atop his nose again. He glances back at her, just so she knew he put them back on. Something about what she did, made him think of someone. A girl he met once, or was it a boy? How sad it was for him not even to remember if someone was a male or female. Let's just call the person, Chris. Both genders could have that name. Chris worked at the local grocery store where he lived. Chris, was usually nice to all the costumers. Until one day when he went in there and was buying a few groceries for his foster mom. Chris automatically froze at the sight of him. Chris went to his school. And knew the terrible things he said about people. He used to always have that affect on people. Fear. He could always see it in someone's eyes. It was no different from how Erin had just looked at him. His posture now relaxes and the same soft smile appears on his face as he looks back at her. "You okay, Erin?" He asks, somewhat quietly. He didn't want to scare her. "You were right. It was Tangy." Looking up at the wall, he tilts his head. "You know. Whenever one of my foster simblings would get frightened, they would either hold a teddy bear tightly. Or squeeze my wrist. I'm not sure why that comforted them, but apparently it did. Maybe you should ask for a stuffed bear." He says this not only to make her feel more comfortable, but to try and help himself. It had been so rare for him to remember even the smallest detail from his foster house, and now he had one. Of course, it didn't change a thing. He was just being more open with his thoughts now. He still had nothing but the light to go off of to what got him here.

☼Life will always be so painful
With this loneliness consuming me.

She had already been walking around in circles for awhile now. She was somewhat agitated, and still thinking about the wrong things that Mason had told her. She had wanted so badly to just throw something at him and tell him he's wrong. That's what she wanted. But it wouldn't happen. She planned on never talking to him again. Even if she did see him, or get paired up with him again. No matter what she said he would just use it against her. Nothing she did would matter, nothing. Suddently she realizes that he's not the one that she's thinking off. It was while she was locked up in that cage. Something she had forgotten until now. There was another man. Once she never saw until half way through the month. He had tried to help her. Even dragged her from her cage and pulled her toward the way out. She had tried to tell him to stop and that he was going to get caught, and punished. Killed. He was killed. It was a vague memory, one that they had tried to tell her never happened. Taking a few more steps, she snapped from her daze when she hears grunts and pouts. Turning her head, she looks at the door to the library. Weren't people suppose to be quiet in libraries? With a sigh, she walks to the door and opens it slowly. Poking her head in. All of a sudden and girl flies through the door past her and down the hall. This causes her to almost fall back, but she someone manages to keep her balance. She waits until she can't see the girl anymore, then steps into the room. She takes a very sharp intake of breathe once she see's Mason. Fights here, happened all of the time. They weren't new. Just the sight of this boy, the one who asked her for the salt, his face one of a killer made her think of the terrible screams she once heard everyday. Now she knew who he reminded her of. Not of the men who took her, but someone who was once a close friend. Running up to Mason, she grabs his shoulder and begins to try and pry him off of the man who was almost dying by Mason's hands. She knew she wouldn't be able to get him off. But just the fact that she was touching him and trying, making it would click in his mind that he needed to stop. Not just for himself, but also for anyone who might actually care for him outside of this place. There had to be someone. And it might kill them not to be able to see him again just because he went on a killing spree.

Still, I know that deep in my heart
There's a light that's shining brightly☼

♪The walls are shaking and I'm paranoid
Can someone stop the noise in my head?

When she opened her eyes she was a bit surprised to see his taken a few steps back but relived none the less. She strangely didn't want him to leave though and at the same time she did. Emotions were strange like that as she quietly followed him out. The walls of the greenhouse seemed to be closing in on her for a second. When he turned around she blinked a few times at the fact he was wearing his glasses. After all she was the one to pressure him into taking them off and she hoped her little meltdown wasn't due to his glasses. Looking around she noticed a few guards near by and felt a bit safer. The fact they were male guards still kept her on the edge though as she reached up and took off his glasses without warning this time. She placed them in his hand and did her best not to get skin to skin contact. Her past had traumatized her quite a lot and she wondered if he knew about her condition. Even the gentlest touch would set her off until she was curled up in a ball on the floor. She thought maybe that was why they could be friends at the very least. He didn't like being touch and she did her best to avoid contact but there were times she'd forget. Her mind would be buzzing and it action would go unnoticed but right after that flash back she was wide awake. "No teddy bears, no wrists. I close my eyes because I'm no longer there. Nothing and no one can touch me because I'm surrounded by darkness." She said softly and kicked a stone along the ground. She never did talk to people or doctors this way but she wanted the boy to know her little flash backs were normal. It wasn't because him she broke down and didn't fear him. Well she did but not him, him. She knew she couldn't explain it any more then that and left the topic hanging. Maybe one day they get back on it but she up for talking about what happened back there right now. "Your glasses, you seem uncomfortable with them on. No one should be forced to be uncomfortable. You don't have to wear them around me." She told him before pausing at the doors and sitting down on the steps. The insides were just so gloomy and she wanted to stay out for just a bit longer. Even though the boy didn't have his glasses on she felt safer with other people around. "Must be nice having siblings..." She wondered what it was like and carefully watched an ant scurrying along the gravel. She herself had no siblings and wondered if Kebira counted as a sister...probably not.

All he could think about at the moment was making the boy pay. Pay for his crimes...Justice...The sound of a gavel hitting against the sound block. It was a strange thing to pop into his mind at the time and he struggled to remember why or where these things came from. These queer yet familiar thoughts. Part of him knows though but just doesn't want to accepted it. Not yet. Accepting it means this all is really happening to him. He still lives in a world where none of this is real. He believes he'll wake up one day and his life would have just been one horrible nightmare. The hand on his shoulder makes his stop for a moment to grip it tightly. He was about to throw whoever it was over and pin them down as well, not caring if they were a worker here. Seeing her face it's as if only then he finally acknowledged what was happening and stopped. He released his grip on the boy that he was on top of and did his best to ignore what he yelled while running out. Freak...Maybe he was as he rushed to get up and away from Kolby. She was too close as he did his best to flatten himself against one of the bookshelves. The thought of what would've happened if she didn't step in, it made him shudder. How did things manage to get so out of hand? "Sh*t." He muttered before shaking his head and looking down at his hands. How much of the blood on it was his and how much was the boy's. "Sh*t." He muttered again before sliding down to the floor and resting his arms on his knees. He does his best to bury his head in them and disappear but knew the girl was still standing there. "He hurt her..." He finally gives a bitter laugh and slowly lifts his head up to meet the girl's eyes. "He hurt her." He repeated in a bare whisper and wished she run off. He wanted to be left alone to think but couldn't find the words to tell her off. The boy would end up telling his doctors and Mace would get what he deserved. He shouldn't have attacked him but something happened. Looking back he himself didn't know how exactly it happened. It was all a blur of red and screams but he was fully aware of what he was doing. He just lost control which is why the girl wasn't safe staying in the same room as him. His throat suddenly felt dry as he opened his mouth to yell at her to leave him. "Go." He croaked and hearing himself say that he knew it wasn't very intimidating so he looked away from her. He couldn't scare her off this time. She'd just have to take it upon herself to leave or someone could get hurt. It was almost as if someone had let loose a wild animal and even though he never thought once of hurting her, there was no letting what happened next.
