"wait. let me finish. i have been testing people to find someone who could help me find them."

"Well let's go then. These things don't find themselves!" Clare said stomping from the doorway.

"let me get my things." richard walked to a bookshelf. he pulled a book and the shelf moved. behind it was a small armory. richard took off his cloak. he strapped on a belt that had multiple pouches. he strapped on two bandolrs that formed an x across his chest and back, they had multiple throwing knifes. he took two knes and strapped them into his boots. he attached a short sword to his back and a hand-and-ahalf sword to his left hip.

"Well that looks much more impressive then this, unless I find a way to sour-note someone to death." Clare said, pulling her lute off her back. She grabbed a bow on the wall and a small quiver of iron arrows. She ran into the ally and came up with a bag on her belt. She lute was gone and she had a reasonable green travailing cloak and her hair was in a bun, a small sheath with her dagger was beside the bag. "Ready yet?" She called.

"yes. lets go." richard said. he grabbed his own long bow and quiver. he had made them himself out of a yew branch. it was strong and light.

Clare walked outside. "I say we head north." She said, pointing towards the north with one hand.

"do you have any ideas about where they would be?' richard asked with a slight snirk

"No, but we don't know until we start to try." Clare pointed out with a frown.

"maybe this will help." richard said pulling out a book he had in a pouch. "this records all the accounts of people hearing or seeing the kakari for the past three centuries. some are true, others are fake."

"Oh for the love of clouds. How many magic do-hickys do you have?" She asked, snatching up the book and looking at it.
