Andrew finished the last hoof and stood up straight "I think it`s time to go inside miss, it`s getting quite dark," he explained. He untied the stalion and walked slowly away across the grass where the stables were. The stables were still glowing with lanterns, and you could till hear the noise of people working inside.

Rashel flipped her hair over her shoulder before tying it up in a ponytail. She lifted her sword and glided over to the next dummy. She practiced moves that focused that precise spots on the body. "If my parents want me in, the can come and get me themselves."

And they did. The queen came walking out "Rasthel, do come inside into the warmth," she said as she walked up behind her, gently putting her hand onto her shoulder. She looked alot like Rasthel, but with different eyes, and a different attitude. She never got angry or annoyed.

Rashel, not expecting to see her mother, instinctively swung the blade up, resting it at her mother's throat. Seeing who it was, she dropped the blade and sheathed it carefully. "Please don't sneak up on me again, mother," she said, annoyance winding around her words. She turned on her heel, walking into the building with a glare stuck on her face. She held her head high, her steps deliberate as she walked upstairs quietly.

Her mother followed her, with a small smile on her face. Three hours later when everyone was asleep in the castle, the knights were spread eagle in the dining area snoring loudly. There was a small light in the stables, then another and another, then they started to move slowly towards the forest. There was the sound of horses snorts and hooves, but nothing else

Rashel rolled around in her bed in the midst of a terrible nightmare. A couple more turns before she gave an ear-splitting scream, sitting in bed shivering. Sweat beaded her face and made her night gown stick ever so slightly to her back. Her breathing was fast and irregular as she sat, trying to calm down. Her dog whined at the foot of her bed before slinking up to her. He set his head in her lap before heading towards the window with a low growl. Her interest picqued, she followed the dog with nothing illuminating her way except the moon. Her white hair gave her away as she stood but that neither bothered her nor interested her.

It was quite clear, there were small lamps around the stable court yard that illuminated the people walking around. Everyone was packing things into saddle bags and boys were coming out with bows and arrows strapped loosely to their shoulders. And then Andrew appeared. You could only tell him by the hair, he was dressed completely in black with a bow and arrow.

Rashel watched the people move with narrowed eyes. Spotting the weapons, she took a small step backwards still within sight should someone look in the window. She stood on the balls of her feet, ready to run and alert the guards if necessary. Or alert her...other friends.

Everything went like clock work down in the stables, and within half an hour there was 12 boys on horses, including Andrew, in pairs they each went into the woods in different directions. Andrew was last to go with his pal Charlie. They stood beside their horses, then carefully lifted themselves on so as not to make a sound. No one bothered to look up at the castle, everyone had their own jobs to do

Rashel, intrigued, snuck into her brother's room, stealing a pair of pants and a shirt quietly without notice. She snuck back to her room and changed quickly, grabbing a cloak made only hours ago and slipped down the stairs. A blade half the size of a sword and twice as sharp was tucked into her boots and she walked to the wall along the drawbridge, sticking to the shadows. Her friends, having been notified, waited for her. She smiled and gave silent orders, everyone watching quietly. Rashel searched to see if her horse was among them, her eyes scanning relentlessly.
