Creeno stared curiously at Pudge again, as a uncomfortable recognition overwhelmed him. Was Pudge growing FOND of him?!

Pudge's fur prickled as she stared at her paws. Oh jeeze. She didn't even want to know what he was thinking. She slowly turned her head to look again, just to make sure he wasn't staring anymore. But he was. Shoot, nice going, idiot, now he probably thinks that you like him or something. She mentally scolded herself. "Well, eh, I'm, uh, gonna hunt." She announced before taking off very quickly, her leather wing causing her to stumble more than once.

Thorn dived after Pudge. "That's a great idea. Mind if I tag along?" He asked nevously, wondering if he was overstepping a boundary line here.

Pudge jumped, her fur poofing out about an inch. "Oh, sorry, you uh, scared me..." She meowed, although she was jumpy as is after that... awkward moment with Creeno. "But I don't mind at all." She smiled, scanning the ground for rats. "Ugh, why are all the night animals so much less tasty than the day ones?"

Thorn shrugged in midair, and lost balance. "Maybe the tasty ones are smart, and know they're in more danger at night!" He mewed, grinning, and keeping pace with Pudge.
