Beck smiled and kissed her cheek. "It's true," he said softly.

"Is it really? No offence, but it's only you that's taken a real interest inme, complimented me." She whispered, not meeting his gaze. Her words were true.

Beck raised an eyebrow. "Really? Well it's true. Don't know why no ones ever told you before."

"Aye. Everyone's either just stayed away from me, made fun of me, or both." Jade confessed, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Well me, Jean and Roman don't, and I never will," Beck said, running his fingers through her hair.

[Keriae]

Blinking rapidly, Jade refused to look at Beck. "I know Jean doesn't, and I'm not sure about Roman...... But what about you? When did you become interested in me?"

"Few years ago, love," Beck said, gently tilting her head up so he was looking into her eyes.

"Why? I'm not even a proper Slytherin. I'd do better in Hufflepuff." She whispered, closing her eyes so she wasn't looking at him. She didn't deserve someone as kind as Beck.

Beck smiled and shook his head. "Look at me, love," he said softly.

Jade shook her head like a small child. "Nay." She pointly refushed, and burried her face in her hand, shuffling off his lap so that she was sat on the floor. He didn't deserve her.
