Roman just kissed her forehead once more before pulling back. "Why thank you, my lady."

Jean smiled, rolling her eyes playfully. "That sounded so much like 'I love you too'."

"'Course it does." Roman argued lightly. "I just speak different to you."

Jean shrugged, rolling her eyes again. "I can see that."

"You've been able to see it since we first met." Roman reasoned, a crooked grin playing on his lips.

Jean smiled and kissed his cheek. "Really? All I remember from when we first met and actually talked, is that I thought you were a git. A cute git, but still a git."

"Thanks for that Jean. Nice way to explain me." Roman muttered playfully.

Jean pouted a bit. "But you're not a git anymore," she added quickly, putting her arms around his torso.

Roman grinned. "I know I'm not. Or you wouldn't have come over to my side."
