"I know love," Beck said, gently kissing her temple. "But it'll be alright."

She agreed with him with a link of her eyes, letting her hea rest on his shoulder as they walked.

Beck kept his arm around her waist as they walked. When they got to the common room, he said the password and walked in.

Jade wriggled from his grasp and bounded across the room, up the stairs rather quickly. Opening the door causiously, she peeked through. "Um, Jean? Are you alright?"

[SlytherinChick]

Beck walked over to the couch and sat down.

Jean glanced over at the door. "Yeah, I'm bloody wonderful," she said sarcastically.

Jade walked in, over to her friend. "Beck asked Roman what happened, and told me. But I'm not sure if I can believe Roman. He was really angry." She placed her hand on her dormmate's shoulder. "Please, Jean, tell me what happened."

[SlytherinChick]

"Well, we... Um, kissed. And then he wouldn't let me go. He thought there was something bothering me, but there wasn't. And he said he wouldn't let me go until I told him. And then we started insulting each others family and I guess I went too far or something because he punched me," Jean said softly. At the end of her explanation, she turned her head slightly so Jade could see the dark bruise.

"That looks like it hurt," She stated, and pulled her friend towards her for a hug. "However, we all know what Roman's like when he gets angry. Did he do anything else? Beck mentioned something about him trying to set you on fire."

[SlytherinChick]

Jean nodded, hugging Jade back. "Yeah, he tried to do that and he's still mad at me. He actually threatened me. Told me to always be alert because he's going to get me," she said softly. "I'm actually scared," she whispered.

Jade nodded, her own eyes showing her fear. "I was scared when he just walked past. However, I do have some happy news, if you want to know it." She was bursting to tell her friend the reent developments between her and Beck.
