|Tybalt Capulet|
"Take that, you villain!' cried Tybalt Capulet, crimson tunic and white shirt smeared with blood from the superficial wounds on his arms and chest. It was a hot day in Verona, Italy, and vengeance was on the wing. Romeo Montague faced him, blood pouring from a broken nose where Tybalt had just smashed the hilt of his rapier. The Capulet advanced on his prey with a wild, almost manaical grin, passing as he did so the body of his former friend. It had been Romeo's fault that Mercutio was slain- and now, the Montague would join him in death. Tybalt lunged with his rapier, but Romeo brought up his sword at the last minute and parried it away. Tybalt dodged to one side and came in slashing, Romeo's blade flashing in to block. Suddenly, everything went still and silent. Even his own breath and heartbeat fell away into oblivion. Then, before he could blink, the world he knew was gone. "Umph!" shouted the Capulet, landing with a bump on cold pavement. He jumped to his feet, yelling in Italian as he swung around to face the person he sensed behind him. It was a man, sitting on the edge of a fountain, holding a book. Bristling with fright (although he'd never admit it), Tybalt kept half an eye on the man as he glanced at his surroundings. It was dark, but he knew instinctively that he was no longer in Verona.
