Melody bit her lip. This was so awkward..she was hiding in a bush with the elements, listening to the spirit of disharmony converse about his love life. She couldn't help but have an urge to help him. No! She couldn't say anything. Even if she was the element of caring and compassion..this was gonna be hard.
Clunk.
Melody put a hoof to her head, resisting another urge. But the urge that was being resisted this time was to tell him to stop kicking rocks into the bush! OW!

Melody held back a squeak, blushing. Okay..this was..really..awkward..she was hearing things that nopony was intended to hear. She felt guilty. She hadn't meant to eavesdrop..
And she was also..being hugged?
Her eye twitched. Must. Fight. Compassionate. Instincts! No! The will was..too..strong!!
"Aww, it's okay!" She said, leaning out of the bush and hugging him back. "I know things must be really hard for you, but it'll turn out for the best. Sometimes relationships drift apart, and that's natural! Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. But you've still got your memories, right? And I'm sure she'll understand! Things will sort themselves out, really!"
