Kylie was about to begin again, as she started to pick up the faithful volleyball once more, preparing her arm for a killer swing. Suddenly, she heard something. She tilted her head, dropping the volleyball down, pressing it against her hip in a curious manner. She started to see other students file in, but realized it was just the early ones, as she called them. The average and lates were going to show up around 30 minutes later, as they always did, screwing up their schedule for practice even further.
Besides that, where was this new coach? It was obvious their old coach had decided not to come teach today as well, or she had, completely dropped coaching all together. She didn't rightly blame her, for their class was always late, or screwing up the practice in one way or another. She sighed indignantly, and turned her head back to the volleyball. She lifted it once more into the air, and took a swing at it as she launched it into the air, performing a perfect top spin, sending the ball twirling across the gym for it's little life. She smirked, dusting off her hands as she heard it satisfyingly thump against the back wall, but of course, it wasn't powerful enough to come back. Only her regular hits were that good, as of right now.
She was about to head back to the Ball basket, when she noticed someone slumped in the bench, someone doodling on something unknown. She tilted her head, then pushed the basket away, straightening herself, then deciding it would be okay to walk over there. As she walked, she realized it was a guy, but whoever it was, she had no clue what he was doing here. Maybe he was a new kid, but anyway, guys weren't allowed by when the girls practiced. She walked closer, into hearing distance, standing around 2 feet away from him. She cleared her throat, and then started speaking, her voice soft and smooth. "Uhm, hello? I was just wondering what you were doing by the practice this morning. Are you a new student?" she asked, not once getting irritated, only more and more curious. She ran a hand through her chocolate hair, then smoothly brushed it behind her fine shoulders. She made it a point to pull down her shorts again, for they were once more riding up in the back, as she hated. Her blue eyes rested behind big, long black lashes that batted open and closed with soft movements, suttle.
