[Rainy Dayz]

Lunar dodged a fire but followed the truck, ignoring Night. The fire was destroying everything. She jumped up a little bit, enough to be in the back of the truck. -She had leaped from a very old and very sacred tree stump. Well, it had been sacred to her family...- "I'm not leaving you Night." Lunar barked to him, and fumbled with the lock. Nothing would make it move. She tried and tried with no luck, and almost crushed herself a few times.

Night was desperate to get Luna out of here. He pushed agianst the cage making it slide forward. He did it wice more before Lunar fell off the back of the truck. Night wanted to tell her he loved her but the truck went faster as it came onto the road, leaving Luna in a bundle at the edge of the woods.

"Night, why did you do that?" Lunar whispered. The fire was closing in on her. After a second of trying to escape, she was surrounded. A while after wards, Lunar was one of the few remaining creatures of the forest. A mother eagle took her away, to keep her alive. She need protection for her babies too. Deal was, that Lunar protected the pups and not eat them, she wouldn't be killed. She'd be fed to protect them. Real fish, not swollowed by the mother.

Two years later....

Night poked his head out of his den. He scented the air and padded outside. A women came out and fed him, then sat and talked to him. Night smiled and listened as he ate. The woman would tell him stories about other foxes. Night longed to be back in the protection on the forest, but that had been destoryed and now a big buildign was there. Night thought of all the beautiful memories. He looked out, he wasnt made to be a house fox. The women left and he was alone 24 hours. Well thats not true, he had his other friends. One was a huge wolf named Miyu. She was his best friend. Another was a male fox who was next door. He was mean and grumpy. Then there was Larka. a white fox that Night loved with most of his heart. The other part longed for Luna. But Night had moved on, he had produced many offspring with larka. And he loved her very much...

Luna had a partner of her own. A hunting partner. He was head over heals for Luna, but she just wanted him for company. Lunar was hunting prey, around the house on her own. Fright, her hunting partner, was afraid of the house, so she was alone. Sniffing the ground cautiously, she ducked into the tall grass, hunting a small mouse. There were many that surrounded the place, but this one was alone. Alone and fat. Yum. IT was male, so it wasn't pregnant. That was all she knew. She caught a few different scents, but walked a little bit off, following the mouse. IT poked through Larka's area, and Lunar followed until something was in the way. She growled and padded off, her proud white head perked up with pride, though she was annoyed.

Larka walked over to night. " Whats wrong?" Night had been being quiet and in the den. Larka dun a hole so she could get in. Night licked her noes. She smiled and licked him back. " I just miss my old friends and Luna." He sighed. Larka knew about Luna and didnt care she had been Nights mate. He was hers and nobody could have him. Night sighed. " I need to get out of here..." Larka sighed. " come on, we'er going to jump the fence." she smiled and ran. With a graceful leap Larka jumpedover it. Night smiled, Larka was perfect. He ran and jumped over it too. Together they went into the forest.

Lunar sighed and saw her eagle freinds. But she wasn't in the mood. Arya flew down. The old mother had her adult children following her. They circled above, which usually meant meat. A fresh kill. It was usually a way of gettign attentin too.

Night blinked his heavy eyes and looked around. It was afternoon. Him and larka had went through the rainy night and slept at dawn. His looked down, Larka was up against him curled into a ball. He smile and nudged her. She licked his nose and then his cheek. Together they walked outside and scented the air. They went hunting after they scented deer. Together they had a great breakfast. There were eagles flying colse so they left it for them. Soon both foxes started smelling signs of other foxes. They avoided the strong scents. Night felt disturbed for some reason, about the location and the scent.

Lunar saw Dallas, and just wanted to play for a few minutes. She crawled down int the near-by tall grass, not to far from the foxes. She saw Dallas in th3 distance, or what she though was Dallas, but was really Night, and waited for her move. Her perfect move was needed for Dallas. Almost nothing surprised him.

Night was a couple feet from Luna. Larka had gone hunting in the other direction. He scented the air. The scent of fox was getting stronger and stronger. Finally something clicked and he knew it was. But just incase Night looked around. He didnt call her out loud in case it was an imposter. He scented the air again.
