Night lapped up water. He was a bunny and stalked but stopped when he saw the three babies with her. He sighed and rolled in the water. Nights stomach grumbled. He scented the air. A wolfs scent was in it. Night growled and contined scenting. Night whipped around when he heard a twig snap. Two men were lighting trees on fire. Night growled and them. They pointed at him and held up there guns. Night growled but turned and dodged bullets....

Lunar didn't hear the bullet shots, so she paid no mind. Though she was really close. She walked away from the water, and started her quiet journey without Nightmare. She missed him terribly.

Night hids in a little den. He was shot in his front left leg. It hurt but he still fought off the hand that reached into the den. Somehow it got a hold of him and lifted Night out. He fought but was thrown into a cag. Night howled and watched as the humans started a wild fire that was headed toward Lunas direction. He let out a warning howl, it said to run and dont go toward him.

Lunar heard it, but the wind messed it up. It blew around for a while, and hit lunar in the wrong direction. So she ran to Night without knowing it. She was running to the men, almost blindly because she was having issues seeing right then. The night was her least favorite time of the day.

Night was thrown in the back of the truck. He saw lunar coming toward the fire and him. He gave a warning howl and then a death howl. The truck started and drove away. " Do you think it will work,Dan." " I dont know, any animals left will either die or somehow escape." Night was terrifyed by thse words. " Well, what do we do with the little guy in the back?" "Take him to another animal refuge center." The other man grunted. " when do we come baclk and chop down the trees and destroy everything for the new building?" " I dont know, maybe next week, it will give the animals time if they want to come back to know that the food is gone." " But Dan, the last fire didnt do that." " It will this time..."
