Ino nearly choked with the effort of containing the laughter. It didn't help that she thought of what she'd say as soon as he seemed to have given up.
Carrion felt something in his break. He moved closer slowly, not sure how she would react. "Kim..." He sighed, unsure of what else to say. He didn't want to just make her angrier. Suddenly, he was pouring his past out for her, and couldn't stop the words. "I grew up in a small town just outside of London, afraid that any day the pollution in the air or the water would kill me. My sister wasn't afraid of that. She was afraid of dying with no one to remember her. She made me promise I'd never let that happen. She... she was gone a few months later. I couldn't sing anymore, not with her gone. If I tried, the words came out wrong, so full of hurt and pain. I couldn't make any money, I couldn't even find the will to live. I was thirteen at the time and had decided to runaway. At the end of the day, I stumbled into a dirty alleyway on the edge of London. A strange man found me there and said he knew my type and would apprentice me. I didn't know what his trade was, but I agreed instantly. My saved up money wouldn't last long, especially with me unable to sing to make more. I... The man had ended up being a vampire and was training me to be one, even if he hadn't bitten me... Yet..."
((just curisous. should the vamp in Carrion's story be a different 'out of story' charrie, or Liam? I don't want to just pull your charrie into something you don't like for his past.))
