Roxia stopped at a dark house on the corner about a street down. They could just barely see her own house from here. Roxia sat at the door and YIPPED loudly twice, awaiting for a response.

Rose sat behind her patiently, waiting and watching to see what was behind the door.

Just then, at the bottom of the door a white furry fox poked his head out the doggie door and said .."hurry , quickly" as he held up the plastic flap for the two vixens to enter. Roxia wondered why Baxter was in such a frantic state.

Rose wondered that too, but followed in after Roxia went in quickly.

"Bax, what's..." before Roxia could finish her sentence, Baxter stuck his fuzzy white paw over her mouth.
"SHHHHHHHHHHH" he said .
"LISTEN!" Baxter whispered .
Roxia sat for a few moments trying to hear whatever it was Bax was so frantic about but she heard nothing. She started to think this was one of Bax's pranks again.
"Bax I want you to meet..."
"I SAID SHHHHHHHHHHHHH" said Baxter again as he sounded more frustrated this time.
"Wait for a minute" he whispered as he looked over to the new vixen smiling and winking at her in a mischievous manor.

Rose waved him a quick but shy hello with her paw, still listening to hear whatever it was that he had heard, hearing nothing at the moment.

Roxia sat there listening,and after a few moments Baxter pounced Roxia and tackled her like he usually does. DARN IT! I ALWAYS FALL FOR THAT! Roxia thought to herself.
"BAXTER! GET OFF ME YA BIG DUMBY!" yipped Roxia while giggling the whole time.
Baxter and Roxia were almost like brother and sister. They had known each other for quite some time now and had become best friends.

Rose watched, and smiled at her reaction when he tackled her.

"gotcha!" yelled Baxter.
"Why do I even like you??" replied Roxia as she got up angrilly and brushed the dirt off her fur.
"I came here to introduce you to my new friend , Rose, meet Baxter. He's a little wierd sometimes" said Roxia.
"Nice to meet you " said Bax to the new vixen.
