Hope turned her head,smelling Blue. "Happy spring,Blue." She chuckled lightly,hearing her mother sit down. She padded down the large rock,standing next to the older wolf.

Schuyler hopped over to the pups,smiling. "I can't believe you two are almost teens."

"Happy spring." Kitsu mumbled from under her tree, she was starting to hate spring. Shard was gone, her belly was big with pup. "Their's nothing happy about spring!" She barked angrily to Blue.

Blue smiled and nodded at Hope, then turning to Schuyler, replyed, "I know! It feels like it hasn't been too long at all! It's amazing how quickly time flies by." Then, she flicked her ears at Kitsu. "What's so bad about spring? It's not cold, there's new life, and better hunting!

Schuyler growled at Kitsu. "Sure there is. There is no reason to get angry at Blue." She narrowed her eyes.
Hope flinched slightly at Kitsu's words and lowered her head.

Ian padded over to Kitsu,gently pressing his muzzle to her shoulder. "Shard wouldn't want you to be acting this way,Kitsu."

Blue padded over softly to Kitsu and sniffed her pup-filled belly. "I'm surprised you aren't happy, Kitsu. With your new bundles of joy on their way." She imagined several new balls of fur running, yipping, and playing. Wasn't it a wonderful feeling to know that you were providing new life for the pack?
