"Wow, you are full of mud." Sam commented.

"Yeah...I slipped into a mud puddle and then Cassie decided she wanted to play in it." She laughed a little.

Sam smiled at her, "And so you couldnt have slipped somewhere else other than a mud puddle?" he asked. Moving some mud away from her eyes, her skin made him tingle.

She felt the tingle as well. She didn't understand it. She heard his question, but didn't reply for a moment, "Um...Yeah." She smiled a little while Cassie sniffled Sam. She groweld because she scented something unnatural about him.

Sam frowned as Cassie growled at him. Because he was a vampire. He knew about soulmates, like Poppy and James, or Rashel and Quinn. Sam hadn't found his yet. But when he touched Catherine, he felt a tingle. Sam knew what you felt when you have your soulmate in your reach. Sam frowned, she is a human how can she be his soulmate?

She heard Cassie growled. She picked her up Cassie and smacked her snout, "Hush Cassie." She had growled earlier at Keller.
