"I said I dont want a girlfriend, dont pity me!" he was a little fed up with talking about dating.

~Toboe~
He swung next to Tsume, "its because he wants a boyfriend! He called me pretty!!!!!"

~Hige~
He burst out laughing, "I dont think that's how he intended, Toboe!!!" he howled. "Right, Blue?" he asked.

Blue laughed. "Right." she said between laughs. "He just doesn't want to be tied down I'm assuming."

Quent watch them argue. Now was just the right time. They were off guard and not expecting it. He cocked his gun silently and took aim.

~Toboe~
He kept walking around each of his friend, singing and occasionally skipping. "Hey, I cant wait to get to paradise! I wanna see my Grandma, and my brothers and eat lots and lots of sausages! Cuz I had a dream I was in paradise and was doing that so I want to go to paradise real bad! When we get to paradise, what are you guys gonna do first?" Toboe asked, wagging his tail.

Blue giggled. 'You sound like Hige when you talk about the sausages." she said giggling. "When I get to paradise I'm going to find Quent's family. I'm going to tell them he's alright. And I'm going to find my family. And I'm going to be with Hige. After that, I don't know what else to do." she replied.

~Toboe~
"That sounds cool! What are you gonna do, Hige?"

~Hige~
"Find my clan, and then live with my beautiful girl" he nuzzled Blue's shoulder.

~Toboe~
"Tsume?"

~Tsume~
"I dunno, just live somewhere peacefully.... with money and food...."

Blue blushed and nuzzled him back.

Quent pulled the trigger and the gun made a loud bang. The bullet narrowly missed Hige and he cursed. He loaded another bullet and took aim again.

Blue yelped when she heard the bang and looked back to see Quent. "No!" she barked as he loaded again.

Kiba looked back and stood in front of Cheza. "Run!" he shouted to everybody.

~Tsume(wolf)~
"THAT BAS***D? AGAIN?" he yelled, while galloping behind Kiba.

~Toboe(wolf)~
He was running as fast as he could, but he wasnt as fast as the others. So he tried bolting from side to side so it was easier for Quent to aim for him.

~Hige(wolf)~
He stayed close to Blue, very reluctant for Quent to take her away again, even though he knew Quent wouldnt hurt the wolf-dog.

~Cheza~
She started to tear up a bit, someone was bleeding a little bit.

Blue tugged Hige by his collar and then ran. She heard Quent cock his gun again and ran faster.

Kiba was practically dragging Cheza. She was too slow so he picked her up and started running again.

Cher was in a panic and running as fast as she could. Her heart was racing. "Please don't mess this up." she mumbled as she ran.

Quent aimed again. He shook his head, aimed the gun at the sky and shot it. "Wait!" he called to them. He knew Blue would never come if he killed them. He lowered his gun and walked onto the path.

~Hige~
He was reluctant to stop, he didnt trust the old man. He stayed in front of Blue.

~Toboe~
Stopped and hid behind Kiba, slightly.

~Cheza~
She continued to shed tears, Tsume's blood was too strong to take in, she had always mourned the smell of an injured wolf.

~Tsume~
He limped a bit on his right shoulder, he hadnt been shot, only brushed by a bullet.

Kiba put Cheza down and stood in front of her and Toboe. He had his arms spread. "What do you want?" he growled.

Quent looked at Kiba but nodded towards Blue. "I want my dog back." he said roughly.

Blue pinned her ears back. "I'm part wolf." she growled.

Quent looked at Blue in surprise as she growled. Then his eyes nearly fell out of his head as he suddenly saw Blue in human form. "Blue?" he choked.

Blue took a step forward but didn't get too close. "Go home Quent. I'm going with them."

Quent frowned. Blue was his only family left since the fire. "Why. You just met them before the world became new. They're not your family, Blue."

Blue frowned. "Yes they are." she said roughly.

Quent shook his head. "Who took care of you after they died? Huh? I did. I could have left you on the street, but I didn't."
Blue growled, her eyes were red from trying to hold back tears. "I have to go with them. You wouldn't understand." she said and walked back to Hige. "It's a wolf thing." she called angrily over her shoulder.

Quent narrowed his eyes at her. "What's so important that you'll leave your family?" he hissed.

"Paradise." she said simply and looked back at him.
