[Honourable Villain]

"Well, get used to it." Ryu replied with the same smile curled at the corners of his mouth as his fingers trailed from her cheek to her law-line and then to her neck and collarbone before eventually falling to his lap again, only to grab Alex's hand again and trace circles into her palm. Still facsinated, still curious.
With the amount of time that he had spent being this close to Alex, he continued to soak up what warmth Alex had to offer. It was like sunbathing on a cool spring day were the sun wasn't as harmful as it was in the summer, not too warm not so cold. Just perfect. If only he were still alive... Ryu sighed heavily to himself and his gaze fell towards his hand holding Alex's, still tracing small circles. He was a bit glad her eyes were closed for the moment, it gave him the few seconds he needed to clear his expression of envy and disappointment as well as slight irritation. His emotions felt mixed but the girl beside him made things easier, he thought a bit more clearly than he orignally would alone.

Alex chuckled softly at Ryu's reply. She watched quietly as he took her hand in his and began tracing small circles along her palm. It felt nice. Calming, even. She liked it.
"So, what should we do next?" she asked him. "We found your aunt, so...you want to go see her?"

Ryu shrugged his shoulders slightly in response, not really caring what he did next. "I plan on seeing her, but I'm not sure when." He answered softly. "But it's not that big of a deal, just wanted to see how she was doing." He sighed a bit and then ceased to make circles in Alex's palm but he continued to hold it in his. "Is there something you've been wanting to do?" Ryu asked, he was in no rush in moving from this very spot just next to her.

Alex pursed her lips in thought. She couldn't think of anything she wanted to do, or even had to do before tomorrow. She'd finished her homework the day before.
"I can't think of anything," she replied quietly. "It's almost dinnertime, though. I don't know what we could do before then to buy time." She looked up at him and smiled. "Your eyes are turning blue again. Just a little bit in the middle. It's probably because we're so close."

Ryu tilted his head slightly to the side when Alex mentioned his eyes again. The last time she said his eyes were blue, she was almost at the point of passing out in the hallway. As long as he wasn't harming her in any way, he didn't really care what color his eyes were.
But after seeing her smile again, Ryu reflected her expression and chuckled lightly. "As long as I'm not hurting you, I don't care how close we are." He said and after seeing that she turned her head towards him, this gave him the angle to give her a brief kiss on the mouth.

Alex's heart jumped when she flet Ryu kiss her lips softly. She sat up a bit, hoping to continue the kiss, but he pulled away before she got the chance. She laid her head back down on his shoulder and sighed. "You wouldn't be hurting me," she said softly. "I like this. I don't care if I'm exhausted afterward. It's not like I could actually get hurt from it." She looked down at his hand that was wound around hers, then closed her eyes. She was starting to get tired. She wasn't going to tell him that, though.

"You may not care for your own well being, but I do." Ryu said lightly in reply and then eased his grip around Alex a bit but still kept her close. He pressed his lips against the top of Alex's head for a few seconds before taking a deep breath. She smelled nice, whatever she was using. His eyes shifted over towards their entangled hands and he realized that his skin was gaining a bit of color. He wasn't as pale.
Was this him still stealing away Alex's life force at a slow rate? A slight frown came across his expression but Alex was right, it wasn't really hurting her. It was just that Ryu thought of it as wrong. It wasn't right to steal a precious thing such as this from the living. Ryu studied his own hand for awhile and compared it to Alex's after a few seconds. Now he knew if he stayed much longer Alex would feel the effects of exhaustion. He sighed heavily at the thought and glanced at her to see how she was fairing.

Alex looked up at Ryu when he turned to face her. She smiled at him, then her eyes shifted down to their hands. His skin was starting to loose its cold feel. Either that, or hers was starting to get colder. She couldn't tell.
"You know, after awhile, other people will be able to see you," she told him.

Ryu blinked at Alex's comment and his eyes didn't leave the sight of his hand for awhile. "How would you know?" He asked out of wonder and disbelief. But realizing what that meant, if he stayed any onger then Alex would probably be in danger. That was something he wanted to avoid.
"If I need to move away, don't be afraid to tell me, Alex." Ryu said lightly but it was obvious that it was something he didn't want to say.

Alex shook her head. "No, you're fine," she said. She cuddled closer to him for good measure. "And...well, if you...gather up enough energy, then you start to gain a little mass, and then you can be seen by normal people. Maybe just a little bit, though. You're more like a shadow, or...a halluscination, or something."
