Rin stopped in her tracks and looked back at him. She blinked her azure eyes a couple times, processing what he said through her mind. She shrugged a little. "My mom was so caring. She always made me happy, just knowing that someone cared you know? I try my best to make people happy and make them feel like their worth something, just like mom would. People care about you Flash, everyone here does, I know that for a fact." She smiled warmly at him.

"Yeah, I guess, it's just for all my life my parents hated me, they thought I was an outcast, a nobody, when they died I didn't miss them. When I first got fostered the people were thrilled that I didn't talk, but once I started saying things they whipped me and punished me for even opening my mouth. I've been so unhappy all my life and once I came here it was just a shock to me that people cared about me and actually valued my life. You are a very caring girl, Rin, and I bet your mother would be proud of you." Flash said, smiling.

Rin fornwed at Flash's story. "I-I'm so sorry Flash," she whispered. Out of instinct basically, Rin moved twoards him and hugged him. "No one should have to go through that. I know I'm young, but if you need to talk to someone, I'm always here. Don't be afraid to speak your mind just because of your past. When you don't talk, there's a lot of thing that don't get said." She looked up at him. "Thanks Flash, that means a lot to me."

"Thanks, and please be careful, you're squeezing my arm, and side." Flash said, pushing her off, lightly. "Oh and you don't have to call me Flash, my real name is Felix." He said, smiling. His arm really hurt now, but he just ignored it for now.

Rin imediatley returned her hands to her side. "Nya! I'm so sorry! I for got all about that! Ah, I can't believe I just did that...what was I thinking?" she babbled on out of panick. Once she realized this, she shut he mouth quickly. "I'm sorry for hurting you," she said quietly. "Ah, we should probably get you inside now..." she said. Her cheeks were pink from embarrassment.

Flash laughed, "It's fine, no need to worry, I'm fine." He said, shrugging, but that really hurt his arm, "Ow!" He gasped, he could help but say it. He bit his lip to stop himself from screaming. Flash just walked inside with Rin, keeping quiet.

Rin felt so bad now that she hurt Flash even more. She walked down towards the infirmary keeping quiet, instead getting sort of lost into her thoughts. She entered the infirmary and the nurse greeted her. "Ah, hello how may i help you?" the kind lady asked. Rin looked at her. "My friend, he got hurt and needs some bandaging," she said simply.

Flash sighed, "The lion attacked me, and it scratched me down my side and on my left arm." He said to the nurse.

The nurse nodded. "Ah, I heard about that pesky lion around here. Please take a seat hon," she said.

Rin looked at the nurse, then at Flash. "Well, I uh, guess I'll go now," she said.

"No, you don't have to go. I-I want you stay here, to keep me company." Flash said, sitting down.
