Jake turned to the sound and found Rose. "I'll get you out." He promised.

Sophie felt tears sting her eyes. Rose was like a sister to her. They'd grown up together!

Rose nods, her legs were still trapped, and she couldn't feel them. and when she did feel them, they hurt. "I can't feel my legs." she said.

Jake nodded. The beam had stopped burning and he shoved it aside and bent to pick her up. He hurried out with her in his arms.

Rose stayed in their arms. when they just got out of the barn it totally collapsed. Rose's legs were burnt, and broken, tears streaked her face.

Sophie was at Jake's side in an instant. "Rose!" She gasped frantically.

"Sophie." Rose said quietly. Looking at her softly.

Ash watched them, then walked to Sophie's side.

"Get her on the horse. My father is a healer." Sophie said.

"I'm not going to the hospital, take me to Sophie's father." Rose begged.
Ash nods, grabbing the horse he brought here.

Sophie nodded. "It's okay, Rose. Father will take care of you." She swung onto her own horse, then urged Black Wind towards one of the Miller's horses. She pulled out an extra bridle and ajusted it to the horse's size. "Put her on this horse. Jake, ride behind her. Ash, ride on that side." She pointed to the opposite side of the horse.

Ash nods, climbing onto his horse.

Rose coughed, then nods.
