Sugar and Petr chattered and perched on her shoulders happily.

Jake laughed and picked up Molly who glared at the two monkeys.

Rose smiled, "You know, Sophie was going for a horse back ride, maybe you can still catch her you two can go." she told the monkeys

The monkeys shared a look then hopped down and disappeared outside, chasing after Sophie.

Rose smiled watching them go. "So, because you are seventeen. does that mean you English are done with school also?" she asked, Amish are done with school when they are 13.

"Not till we're eighteen." Jake said sullenly.

"Really?" Rose asked head tilted. "We are done with school when we are thirteen."

"Lucky." Jake muttered.

Rose shrugged, "But then we have to go onto working at home," she said. Then looked out the window, and rushed out the backdoor. "Daed! MIller's barn is on fire!" she yelled. The farm next to their Inn and farm, the barn was engulfed with flames. She threw Jake his phone, "Call the fire department." she scribbled down the address and handed it to him. "Then grab a horse and hurry over." She ran and unhooked a horse, from its spot by the pasture and climbed on.

Jake nodded and dialed quickly.

Sophie stared up at the flames. She'd noticed it when she was riding Black Wind and had come to help. She looked around. No one in sight. The Millers weren't even home and Sophie knew their cat would be in their with her kittens. Without another thought, Sophie urged Black Wind into the flaming barn.

Rose got there as Sophie urged Black Wind into the barn. "Sophie! The barn will come down in minutes!" she screamed at her. As she jumped off of her horse. Rose muttered under her breath. The Miller's had pure bred Frisian horses in there, along with a could Thoroughbreds. Rose sighed, she took of her apron. And hurried into the barn where flames hadn't reached yet. She searched for the horses. She found a Thoroughbred mare, tying the apron around the horse's eyes, Rose led the Thoroughbred out and into the pasture. Then went in for another.

Ash muttered some swear words under his breath. Sophie took his phone away so he couldn't even call.
