Fang nuzzled her lightly.

Jay looked at her for a moment. "Don't kill me and we have no problem. Many kind hates me anyway, I seem to be a traitor." He said with a shrug.

Mia laid down and snuggled close.

She nodded slightly, "Fine." she said as she headed after him, studying her.

Fang smiled, looking at her. "Mia, I love you." He said quietly and hesitantly.

Jay led her to his house and let her in then grabbed his first aid kit, tending to her wounds. "What's your name?" He asked.

Mia wagged her tail happily, "I love you too!"

"Mesa, what is yours?" she asked as she looked at him.

Fang nuzzled her and smiled brightly.

"Jay." He replied, finishing bandaging her wounds. "There is an extra room here if you need a place to stay. As for now, do you have any questions for me?" He asked.

Mia smiled and wagged her tail.

"Why save me?" Mesa asked as she looked at him.

Fang relaxed with her happily.

Jay stayed silent for a moment. "Because it is the right thing to do." He said, thinking of Kyra. Bree began to cry and he excused himself grabbing a bottle then picking her up from her crib. He then walked back out by Mesa.

Mia smiled a him warmly.

Mesa blinked, "You have a hybrid." she said as she looked at the child, she stood, "She is very cute." The wolf sniffed the child curiously.

Fang looked at her for a moment. "Will you really leave your family? Will they be okay with it?" He asked softly.

Jay nodded and glanced at Bree who drank hungrily. "Thank you." He said quietly, giving a small smile.

Mia smiled and nodded as she looked at him.

She watched before turning and going to the spare room to sleep.
