Kayla frowned and looked around, it seemed the slayer had gone. She wasn't taking any chances, she brought Hunter near Erik and guarded them both, looking around some more, then at Damon.
Cat: What do I get out of it?
Vincent: One kickbutt boyfriend/bodyguard. And you know, a destined love.
Cat: Oh that. I'll take it.
Her ideal date is dinner on a rooftop or hanging out on a fire escape.

Kayla removed the stake and cleaned Hunter's wound quickly but efficiently. She walked over to Erik and kissed his forehead before looking to see if Damon was back yet, worried.
