Jay glanced at Mia then back at Kyra.

Kyra looked around, she shifted into her small brown wolf and sniffed the air.

Jay looked at her. "Is something wrong?" He asked.

Kyra padded over to the window, he brown ears pointed as she put her front paws on the sill. A low whine slipped out and she dropped down, backing away from the glass as a pair of crimson eyes stared in, cold and souless, the glass cracked and shattered, falling to the floor with an almost musical sound. Mia had awoken and she was hiding behind her father in fear. The glass cracked softly Under Kyra's paws, cutting into them, and soon, the smell of her blood floated around the room. The creatures white fangs flashed as it inhaled the scent, its eyes locked on Kyra.

Jay looked up in surprise. He motioned for Mia to stay then he stepped in front of Kyra with a growl. He let his fangs show and snarled at the creature. He knew he was weaker because of his shoulder but didn't care. He'd protect his family no matter what.

The creature looked at him and cocked its head to the side, it sniffed to the air and creeped towards him.

Jay stood in front of Kyra and Mia looking at the creature boldly.

The creature snarled, it's eyes the only thing that could be seen in the dark, it tried to get past him to get at the two werewolves, Kyra growled, wanting to protect her daughter.
