Jay put his head in his hands and thought of his brother. He coudln;t beliee he had blamed Kayla, it was just as much his fault. He could've changed Jayce too.

Kayla looked up and realized she probably looked like a mess from crying but sighed.

Kyra blinked in confusion, she didn't know what to do.

Damon's smile collapsed and he set his son down and went to check on her.

Jay realized that Kyra didn;t know what was going on. He ahd never told her about his brother. He frowned slightly.

Kayla stared at the wall. Hunter crawled to his bed happily.

Kyra looked away as she began to cry, knowing this was her fault, she should never have mentioned a new home.

Damen silently hugged her.

Jay walked over to her and hugged her, "This isn't your fault, it's mine." He said gently.

Kayla hugged him quietly and pushed the sadness away. It was many eyars ago and there was nothing she could do now. though she'd never forget that Jayce's death was her fault.

Kyra shook her head, "I am sorry, we can stay here." she said.

"It's not your fault." he said as he held her close.

"It's not your fault." Jay repeated. "It's my fault, I can't give you and Mia a good home because I can't bare to leave this town, it's my fault my father is dead and Kayla and I are vampires, and it's my fault that my brother is dead too." He said sadly and lookinh down ashamed.

"Yes it is." Kayla said quietly. She closed her eyes briefly.
