Jay could hear beeping all around him. It was dizzying. He could feel someone around him. Was it Kiri? Or a doctor? He hoped it was Kiri, she could make him feel better.

[sparxs]

Kiri felt him move slightly and layed down on the bed next to him, she stroked his hot forehead softly and kissed his temple.

[flutterby.]

He could feel pressure on his head. No, it wasn't Kiri, he thought, a doctor perhaps, checking his temperature.

[sparxs]

she wrapped an arm across hid chest and nuzzled her face into his neck sighing softly.

[flutterby.]

Jay was fading from reality ver yquickly. He heard the beeping become more infrequent.

She looked at him and called for the nurses quickly. she kissed him softly " Stay with me Jay, please, just stay with me." she said rubbing his temples and chest trying to keep his heart beat regular.

[flutterby.]

"Kiri..." he mouthed. He was happy that he could move his lips.

"its me Jay, i'm here." she said as a nurse ran in and pushed kiri away. She checked his heart beat and breathing before putting a dripp into his hand.

Jay felt a sharp stab in his left hand. Great, another drip, he thought. He could feel the pain fade from the hand as it numbed it.

The nurse told Kiri to stay away but when she had left Kiri was straight by his side again, though she didn't dare touch him "jay?" she whispered taking his right hand in hers.
