"Well, I remember you whimpering when I tightened my grip on you when you made me sit on you, since you kept trying to run off. I also remember holding you tightly enough that you fainted and when the doctors asked about the bruises you'd gotten from you, I shrugged and pretended I had no idea." He said back to her with a smirk. "And you still haven't answered my question." He raised a eyebrow at her, wondering why she hadn't answered. "Are you embarassed that you felt weak?" He asked, in an actual worried tone, wanting to see surprise on her face.

-Ryda-

She glanced down at her cut ankle and shrugged. "It's okay." She said softly, looking back ahead as she started to walk, keeping her eyes scanning the area for a gemstone. "What other powers do you have that you haven't already told me of?" She asked him, quite interested in the fact he was an alien that belonged to another planet. It was so interesting, and she enjoyed listening to him talk about. She also enjoyed the music he made with his violin and briefly wondered what her music was like compared to it.

He noticed that he'd somehow made her feel uncomfortable. "Are you thinking of your father?" He asked, taking a guess. He'd been watching her almost her entire life, since their life spans were different to hers. He'd watched her get upset over things he found silly, but he'd watched it nevertheless. He'd seen her brother teasing her and her acting weird, which was how he knew of her gift. They had been alerted about her anyhow, and he'd been chosen. The baby years had been boring, that was for sure.

Her eyes widened and she glanced at him, in awe. "That's pretty cool.." She trailed off as she imagined what it'd be like, having all these totally awesome powers, yet she couldn't understand why she and Leila had needed to be kidnapped. "Can you morph into animals?" She asked him keenly, continuing to imagine what types of things they could do. She glanced around as she did so, finally spotting the gemstone. It was in an odd shape and seemed to be in a hole of some sort. She paused to look at the hole before crouching down next to it and picking it up. Her hand didn't touch it, but something touched her hand. She'd felt it, and it was like a human's hand, except it was all wrinkly. She gasped and yanked her hand away, shoving it into the pocket his jacket had and shuddering. Her pulse was racing as she just stood there, looking at the hole and trying to calm herself down. "C-could you put your hand in the hole?" She asked Aladdin, wanting to see if he also got the wrinkly hand pulling him down.

[Choco]

He shrugged. "You went quiet. So I figured you'd be lying." He said, walking next to her and using his powers to kill the spider. He couldn't stand them one bit, and would love to kill every single one of them that roamed this planet, especially the poisonous ones. "Hungry?" He asked as he ran his hand through his hair, glancing around them and over his shoulder, checking for any spiders or snakes. None were there, thankfully. If they had been, he'd have killed them off.

-Ryda-

Since he didn't feel anything, she frowned and sat down by the hole, wondering how she would get the gemstone if all she felt was somebody pulling her down. She glanced down at the ribbon on her wrist and took her other hand out of the jacket's pocket, fiddling with the ribbon and sighing softly. She didn't want to undo the ribbon in case she lost it.. And she knew she wouldn't be able to reach it if it was down in that hole. "Something pulling me down." She finally said, staring at the hole and thinking of ways to get the gem. She decided she'd just have to fish it out, since there was no way she was putting her hand down that hole again. Not at all. She glanced around until she saw a stick. She stood up and went over to it, picking it up before going and sitting back down by the hole. She poked the hole with the stick, waiting for the hand to come out.

He didn't answer as he wondered why she stared at him so often. It was kinda un-nerving, if you thought about it. He shrugged as he wondered if she actually knew where she was going, or if she just randomly walked around like some of his partners had done before, on previous jobs. Of course, he'd moved up and they hadn't. Too bad for them, he thought to himself.

-Ryda-

She felt uneasy because she knew he was staring at her, and she sighed softly, getting annoyed that the gem wasn't coming out. She shuddered before she slid her hand in and had her fingers touching the gem when she felt somebody's mind behind her, and it really unnerved her. She snatched her hand out of the hole in case the hand would come back and looked over her shoulder but saw nothing. The mind was also gone and she frowned, telling herself to get a grip as she looked back at the hole and started poking the gem with a hole. She bit her lower lip as she realised it wasn't working, but she really didn't want to put her hand down that horrible hole again. She crossed her legs and caught a glimpse of her ankle, frowning as she saw that it was bruised. She stretched it out and pulled her sock down slightly so she could see it better. When she had a better look, it wasn't bruised. She pressed her fingers against the area she'd thought bruised, since it was a dark blue and purple, but felt only numbness. She frowned once more and pulled her sock back up, figuring it was just her wary imagination and went back to poking around the hole that had the gem in it, thinking nothing of her ankle, although she could barely feel it. It stopped hurting, so she ignored it.

He glanced around the waterfall they were now by, recognising it as the one they'd went to yesterday. He was still unsure why she'd come here, out of all the places, yesterday but shrugged it away, not really caring. He stood there a couple of metres away from her, glancing around for any snakes or spiders, or any other evil creatures that were sure to be around here somewhere. His gaze returned to her before it flickered away, onto the waterfall. He listened to the rushing water with a faint smile, enjoying the sound a fair bit.

She finally managed to flick the gem out of the hole and caught it in her lap. She grinned and threw the stick into the hole, standing up. Her grin faded into a smile and she glanced up at Aladdin. "Got it." She said happily, satisfied with herself as she put it into her pocket, next to her medallion. She was happy she'd found two of the objects and really hoped Layla had found the other two, wherever the girl had went. She was now unsure of what to do, then she remembered they had to go the way Layla and her guard had went. "Do you remember the way she went?" She asked Aladdin, raising a eyebrow and hoping that he did know.

He sighed softly as he glanced at the waterfall once more, not realising his gaze had strayed to Layla absentmindedly. He was glad she wasn't staring at him any longer, because it made him wonder why she was doing it. Was she just lost in thought? His shoulders raised up in a slight shrug and he took in the great rushing waters with a sense of misery. Unless the girls could help them, this world would die. It was already starting, and they needed help badly.

-Ryda-

She smiled softly, glad he knew the way. "Thank you." She said softly as she walked towards where he'd pointed, her gaze flickering around the forest before she decided that if she watched the ground, she couldn't see anything scary or freaky. She couldn't help but wonder why Aladdin always looked around, as though he was expecting something to jump out at them. She really didn't like that idea, so she threw it out her mind and focused on watching where she going.

When she asked him something, he stayed silent, not having been paying attention to her. He slowly looked over at her and frowned, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "That's not a option." He said firmly, sounding just like the Leader for a second. "But if it does happen.. The planet dies. In fact, we all die, including you. Unless we find another planet to go on, and even then, we'll be spliting families up. Some will go to one planet, others to another. So you can't fail. No. You have to help us." He shook his head and looked over at her, his eyes wide with.. some sort of emotion. "Failing isn't a option." He repeated, his gaze on her but he wasn't actually seeing her. No, he was caught up in his memories. He'd seen the dying part of their planet already, and had seen people die too. It was horrible, and he couldn't erase it. He wanted to, but he couldn't.

She nodded, looking down at the hole when he pointed it out and gingerly stepping over it. It looked so deep.. and it reminded her of the one the gem had been in. She shuddered and sighed softly, looking ahead blankly. "Aladdin? Will you really leave us in here alone if we don't find the other two objects?" She asked softly, looking over at him with a worried expression. She'd been thinking about it, wondering if they'd been serious. She was already scared enough, since the forest seemed to be wanting to kill them, but at least they had guards. Without them, they'd die. She looked back in front of her as she bit her lip, crossing her arms and feeling glad she was wearing his jacket. It was so nice and warm, yet it made her wonder if he was feeling cold. Was he? She couldn't tell..

When she asked what would happen if they did save his planet, he focused once more. He looked at her properly now and shrugged. "Everybody will be safe. You'll be allowed to go back to your planet.." That was a lie. Probaly. He was told to tell the victims that, although he didn't actually believe it. They'd seen his planet, so either they weren't allowed to go back home, or they'd have their memories wiped and be allowed. "But you don't have to go. You'll probably get used to this planet, and stay." He shrugged, "Everything will be perfect if you manage to save this world. And if you do stay, it'll be a easier life then back at your planet. You'd be accepted as one of us, you wouldn't have to hide your gift.." He was doing as he'd been told to, trying to lure her into staying. "You wouldn't have to be perfect anymore." Kerith knew she didn't enjoy doing what her parents made her do, not all the time. He'd watched her for so long he'd guessed that. "But it's your choice."

She nodded and continued biting her lip. "Don't you find that a bit.. weird? Not being able to have a say in what you do?" She asked him quietly, not wanting to offend him if he didn't find it weird at all. In fact, he was probably used to it. She uncrossed her arms and ran a hand through her hair, twirling a curl around her finger and deciding she'd have to put it up in a bun when she got back. Ask for some hair ties and what not. She needed some clothes, a hairbrush, and a shower. She really needed the last one, since having a shower always relaxed and calmed her down, and that was exactly what she needed. Once this was over, she'd ask for all those things and hope he gave them to her.

He wondered why her mood had suddenly changed and shrugged, glancing over his shoulder when he heard very faint voices and he knew that they were coming closer. Sometimes Layla seemed like an emotional wreck, while other times she seemed like a stone, heartless. It was the oddest thing he'd ever seen, especially since he'd seen a lot of weird people in his lifetime. [WB, sorry]

She nodded and smiled faintly, listening to him. She was quite interested in how things worked around here, especially since she figured she'd be here for quite a while. "Thanks." She said with another slight smile, looking over at him when he said he'd get her a coat. She wondered what he did in his spare time. Probably play the violin or something, since he was really, really good at that. He wouldn't have been surprised if that was what he did. "Why did you become a guard?" She asked him quietly, watching where she was going since she didn't want to trip or get a snake on her or anything. She'd had enough of all that, that was for sure. She crossed her arms again, noticing they were almost at the clearing. "Tell me later?" She offered as they got to the clearing, looking over her shoulder at him and smiling lightly once more. "I got it.." She told Layla.
