"You won the bet Frank," Kale said softly as she lifted her head to look at him straight on. "What do you want me to do?" She asked as she kept her arms around his neck and studied his expression, wondering what he wanted. She knew what she wanted and would have told him had she won the bet. But if she had won that would've meant none of this, he wouldn't have held her and she wanted him to hold her, hold her close like this. She wondered how their friendship could have changed for her, one minute they were such great friends, going over to each other houses, so comfortable with each other and the next she realized she felt more for him. More than just friendship.
