"Um..I dunno, I don't think it has to mean that, it coulld mean...well I don't know what to say Frank!" Kale said as she tried to figure that out. "I mean, yeah I 'love' you, definitely, you're my friend but I don't think attract always means...attract. Like...pollen attracts bees to a flower or...bright lights attracts bugs. Now I'm getting all mixed up." She pulled a comical face, unable to fully explain herself.

"that's really confusing" Frank pulled a confused face but kept walking. he shoved his hands back into his pocket and began to humm a tune he had been playing last night on the guitar.

"But it all narrows down to: We're friends, end of story," Kale said with a soft laugh as she walked in the direction of Fresh&Easy. After a while of listening to him, she asked, "What song is that?"

"huh? nothing just something ive wrote" Frank shrugged. He had been writing songstunes since he was 8 and had finished over one hundred but never did anything with them.

"Right..next time I'm drawing or writing a story I'll use that same response," Kale said dryly as she began to skip, seeing the store up ahead. "Hurry up slowpoke," She called back as she broke into a run, eyes sparkling.

Frank ran after her. He picked her up from behind an spun her around. He whispered in her ear "gotcha"

Kale giggled when she heard him running after her and let out a little squeal when he picked her up and spun her around, not expecting it. She went still as he whispered in her ear, surprised to find her heart pounding fast and her face warming up where his warm breath had touched. Oh my word, I'm crushing on Frank, She realized at the same time.

Frank put her down slowly and he smiled. He looked at her, her beautiful smile,he perfect eyes her lustrous hair f*cking hell! i LOVE Kale!!! He realised then kept walking. He resumed shoving his hands in his pocket as if nothing had happened. He tryed to avoid thinking about her but he couldn't help it she was in his every thought.

How did I not see this? Frank's always around, always doing stuff and I never mind, I could careless that he used the spare key to get into my house this morning, I'm so comfortable around him. I really do like him, I don't even mind all his peircings and tattoo's. Kale thought with a start as she smiled up at him after he put her down, vaguely disappointed as she started walking again. She wondered what he was feeling right, definitely not the same thing or anything close otherwise how was he able to look so calm? She was breathing hoarsely though anyone could think it was because she had been running though it wasn't. Her pulse was racing and her cheeks were slightly flushed but her eyes were shining, all things that might make people think she had been out for a run but that wasn't it. Something else was in the air.

Frank's mind was going crazy but he hid it no matter what. He caught a glimpse of her and smiled.

He scratched his arm lightly and looked at the floor. He let his hair fall over his face to hide the fact he was giddy. He really wanted to do something like tel her,hug her,hold her hand,kiss her but he restrained himself massively.
