[Choco]

Isaac chuckled softly as he fell into the water, slicing through it before swimming back up. He swam to the shore and got out, shaking his head with a chuckle. He would've turned shadow a couple of seconds before he actually hit the ground, but Mel obviously hadn't know that. He was enjoying this shadow turner thing a lot, actually.

Mel glared at him from a short distance away, safely tucked into a tree with her tail covering her exposed areas. If her eyes could shoot daggers, he would probably be dead right now. "What do you want," she spat at him angrily. She wasn't his baby-sitter, and he'd so blatantly told her that he didn't really like her.

[Choco]

Isaac didn't walk towards her, keeping his distance. "Look, I didn't mean anything I said yesterday. Well, I meant the nice stuff but I didn't say much of that. Please, can you forgive me? Please, Mel?" He asked, his voice quiet and weak as he looked up at her with wide eyes.

"Is there really a point?" she growled at him, her eyes slits in her dark face. She wouldn't believe anything he said, unless she knew it to be true. And this "steed" business kind of disturbed her. What happens if the dragon was right, and she really was just his beast to ride?

[Choco]

Isaac took one small step towards her and sighed softly, nodding. "Yes, there is. Please forgive me, Melliyana. I know that I don't deserve it-I don't deserve anything!-but please find it in your heart to forgive me for always being such a jerk. And don't tell me you don't have one, because I know you do." He took another small step towards her.

Mel growled loudly as he took a step towards her tree, flashing teeth sharper than usual. The dang dragon wanted him either far away, or herself out as a full beast. "No point," she grumbled, sharp spikes raised on her back. She was getting very agitated, the closer he stepped to her.

[Choco]

Isaac held his hands up as a sign of mercy. "Why are you angry at me?" He asked, confused. His eyes were a dark green as they flickered over her, slightly confused still.

"That's for me to know and you to figure out," Mel growled at him, swinging her legs under the tree limb, yet as taut as a bowstring. If he came to close to her, she'd be gone. Within the minute. Something wheedled in the back of her mind, saying that maybe he was right, but it was quickly overwhelmed by the smoldering hatred the dragon felt for him.

[Choco]

Isaac sighed faintly. "Melliyana, is this really you? This isn't just the dragon in you?" He asked, his eyes widening with sadness. He bit his lip, still confused about what he'd done wrong.

"Yes. No. It's both of us. The dragon told me the truth of our nature, and let us just say that we aren't very happy about it," Melliyana grumbled, staring at him with darkening eyes. He might not know yet, but he soon would. They were connected. He just didn't know about it.

((I'm thinking that he is like...a shadow prince or warrior, and she is a mix of human and shadow dragon. The dragon is supposed to be a shadow prince/warrior's steed but the dragons have come to dislike this fact and want to end it. Thing is, once the two are bonded, they become stuck that way as a partnership, sometimes friend to friend, other times master to slave. Like Eragon but different.))
