[Choco]

Peryn smiled at Dodge before splashing him and letting go of his hand so she could run further into the water in hope she wouldn't get splashed. "You can't get me!" She teased as she stuck her tongue out at him, very relaxed. She was enjoying being with Dodge a fair bit.

Dodge gave a gasp as the cold water smacked him in the face, and splashed a large wave back at her, soaking her. "Bet ya I can!" He yelled back at her, swimming out towards her and trying not to freak out in the water. His body was already starting to feel sluggish, like he wanted to go to sleep.

[Choco]

Peryn squealed loudly when the water hit her and shuddered from the cold feeling. "Dodge!" She whined, rubbing her arms. She ran to the left, but closer to the sand. Goosebumps rose up on her body and she shuddered lightly.

Dodge followed her closer to shore, but when he started to pick himself up, he found his own legs could not hold his weight. The bad thing about being part snake? The cold-blooded part, coupled with a human's own lack of immunity to anything. He gave a shiver and tried to stand again, this time barely succeeding. He stumbled towards shore, almost making it but falling into the water again. His entire back scales had turned a dull blue.

((Bum bum bummmm))

[Choco]

Peryn looked over her shoulder at Dodge and her eyes widened. She wondered what had happened and rushed towards him swiftly, cutting through the water. She crouched down next to him and took his hand, pulling him up slightly. "What's the matter? Are you alright? What can I do?"

"Just help me back to shore. My body can't take being cold for any amount of time, really. Not without some sort of coat, at least. He again stumbled towards shore, cussing in his head for his own weakness. Why had he ruined Peryn's time? He should have been able to take the water.

[Choco]

Peryn nodded and put her arm around his waist, helping him up easily. She did have muscles, thanks to some of Isaac's training, some crazy stuff he'd done when he'd been younger. It worked well enough. She walked towards the shore, ignoring Dodge's weight as best she could. He hadn't ruined her time, because she enjoyed being with him. She was just worried.

Dodge collapsed near his shorts on the sand, pulling them back on and then completely flopping. The warmth of the sand soaked into his body, making him less tired and sluggish while also returning movement to his body. "I'm sorry. The perks of being part snake also have their let downs," he said quietly.

[Choco]

Peryn nodded as she sit down next to him and smiled softly, glad he was feeling better. She held a handful of sand and poured it onto his chest so that he'd be warmer. "It's okay. You should've told me though." She said softly.

"I wanted you to have one day of being normal, and I thought I could take a little cold," Dodge murmured to her softly. He sat up, brushing sand off of himself slowly. He hated the cold. Absolutely hated it.
