Peryn narrowed her eyes at the scribbles on the floor, and felt herself go pale as she realised they spelt words. Her eyes widened and a soft whisper escaped her mouth. "Peryn."
Peryn read the writing again, frowning. "You're a wolf. Wolves don't have names." She said stubbornly, turning her head away from him in a childish matter.
Peryn's eyes flicked over the words he'd written. "Firstly, because it isn't right. It just seems weird. Secondly, what's the use? You're probably the only wolf around here. Thirdly, I'm human, and you're not. I have a better life then you, and to add to that, should not get attacked." She said with a shrug, annoyed.
Sabriel licked himself clean of any regret to choosing her. He started scratching into the sand again, hoping she was still intrested in reading what he wrote.
"I was a human but then..."
Sabriel paused, dragging his nail threw the floor, wondering wether he should tell her
Peryn glanced at the floor with a smirk. "I'm sure you were." She said in a deeply sarcastic tone, wishing she could just go home. "I'm guessing you're about to write that a evil witch came and cursed you so now you're a wolf. How sweet." She purred before crossing her arms and looking faintly amused.
Sabriel felt so much hurt that he made a lunge at the girl but made himself stop, mid leap so to not hurt her yet again. Instead he threw himself at the wall angry with himself for being so stupid.
Peryn was etting maused now as she watched the wolf throw himself at the wall. It entertained her quite a lot, but she ended up looking away anyway. "Finished throwing yourself at the wall yet?"
