[Captain Rex]

Davijaan barked and lunged after Kiche. "Timber!"

[Mario]

Kiche ran her fastest. Her eyes widened with terror. There, on the ground, was Timber on his side. Blood splattered the ground and his pelt. Kiche felt rage tear through her as she saw the hunter who had shot him leaning down to carry him to his truck. She howled savagely and threw herself onto the human, making him fall on his back to the ground. She tore at him wildly. He didn't have a chance.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan licked Timber's fur. "Timber? Are you okay little one?" he whined and lifted the pup's head with his nose.

[Mario]

Timber weakly opened both of his eyes. "Papa... it hurts..." He squeaked.

Kiche killed the hunter, then whirled around to Timber. "Timber..." She whispered.

[Captain Rex]

"i'm here, you're gonna be okay." Davijaan licked him. "Just stay calm okay?"

[Mario]

Timber weakly licked him back, then his eyes began to close.

Kiche whined.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan whined too and kept licking the pup's wounds.

[Mario]

Kiche whimpered sorrowfully as she put her ear on his chest to hear any heartbeat, but heard none. "He's dead.." she whispered, heart sinking.

[Captain Rex]

Davijaan howled mournfully and nuzzled the pup's still body. "I love you little one."

[Mario]

Kiche sat down and shut her eyes tightly. Timber was almost everything to her. When she opened her eyes again, there were angry tears on her face. She was practically shaking with rage. "Timber......... I'll never forget you! I'll repay you someday! I promise!" She howled loudly, grief stricken.
