[Captain Rex]

Davijaan managed a grin. "I'm hungry." he growled playfully. "I was about ready to eat you!" he teased.

[Mario]

Timber screamed and ran out of the den, thinking he meant it.

Kiche sighed, "Timber!" She called exasperatedly.

[Captain Rex]

"Uh... Oops..." Davijaan looked sheepish.

[Mario]

Kiche sighed and sat down. She was feeling tired.

[Captain Rex]

"Come on, we should go. I'll get Timber."

[Mario]

Kiche nodded and sighed. "I don't want to leave here though..." she whimpered quietly. "This was my first home."

[Captain Rex]

"I know, it's mine too. But it's not safe right now. Maybe we can come back again"

[Mario]

Kiche nodded and stepped out of the den. "Timber?" She whined.

[Captain Rex]

"Timber?" Davijaan called the pup quietly.

[Mario]

For a moment, there was silence in the air. Then Kiche heard a terrifying, yet oh-so-familiar sound: a gun shot followed by a yelp. "NO! TIMBER!" Kiche feared the worst and her muscles tightened, prepared to run.
