"A Barghest." He breathed out. "A monstrous dog with huge teeth and claws. It only appears at night. Anyone who sees such a dog will die soon after. They though it was the Black Plague, but no.." He shudders, knowing the inevitable.

"You let me worry about that, Sev." The Doctor said. He started to run across the dusty ground, yelling at the crowd that sat before them. "Close your eyes! Please! Close your eyes!"

The large man looked at the arena, seeing the seemingly crazy man run about screaming. "How does he know?", he grunted, looking at the guards. "Go get that man and his lady friend."

Sevilen decided to help. "YOU **** BETTER DO WHAT HE SAYS OR ELSE!" She yelled.
(I use Sev in another rp. One of her powers is being able to part people like the red sea by yelling at them.)

(Got it. I haven't been on since Friday I think because I had a show to preform. But now I'm back. ^^)
The crowd stared at The Doctor and his partner before doing as they were told. By the time the deed was done, the sun had fully set.
Suddenly, a dark haze started to appear in the middle of the clearing. The Doctor motioned for Sevilen to close her eyes, as the rest of the crowd had. "I'll be fine, though. Barghests don't effect those who can regenerate." As he finished the sentence, two eyes and fangs were now visible on the hazey figure.

A man in the crowd opened his eyes at the word "Regenerate." He yelled and tried to close his eyes, but too late.
Sevilen grabbed the Doctors shoulder. "Where is it, how do I kill it?" She asked.
(This reminds me of "Eye of the Gorgon" The Sara Jane episode. I forgot to ask, do you know about Chameleon circuit?)

The Barghest, now fully in form, sensed eyes open. Quicker than the man could conceive, the large dog-like creature jumped into the crowd and lashed out a paw. The man slumped to the floor, life draining out of him. The people around the man trembled. A little girl, the man's daughter, screamed as she opened her eyes and looked down at her dead father. The same terrible fate happened to her.

"We have to keep it at bay until the first sliver of morning light comes. There will be a moment where it will be fading away until the next day. During his fading, he is extremely vunerable to any attacks. One stab with a sword would do it." The Doctor said, jumping up into the stands. "Hey, look at me! I have my eyes open! Come at me, dog!"

Sevilen sighed. "Eight hours. EIGHT HOURS!" She snapped. "And someone else is going to die." She said.

It stopped right in front of The Doctor, its snout almost touching his face. It glared at him, red eyes blazing. "Oh, that's right. You can't touch me!"
