"I asked you to specify where she was! Not how far away! You told me you didn't ask, and that doesn't help me!" Kathrine said in a rushed voice, she knew Nicholas knew witches, he would've listen where they are too. She hoped.

"I would've asked. Either way I know where it is. Trust me." Jason said smirking slightly.

[ariel.]

"Stop smirking all the time, it's annoying." Kathrine told him, in truth, she didn't find it annoying at all. She was just in an uptight mood. She shut her eyes tightly, and sat back on her knees. She rubbed her temples and breathed slowly, trying to calm herself down. It wasn't working in the slightest.

"And your sarcasm can get annoying. Now do you want to go find this witch or not?" He asked. He hadn't meant what he said, but it was a comeback.

Kathrine opened her eyes, and she frowned up at Jason. She glanced down towards the papers and sighed. Something caught her eye though, a portrait. She leaned forwards and pulled it out of the pile, it was from the 1800s. It was a girl, about sixteen. She looked surprisingly similar to Kathrine, for a moment she thought it was her then a name flashed across her mind, Elizabeth. Staring at the portrait, for a moment she shook her head and dropped it. She pushed herself to her feet, and nodded. She let out a slow breath, "Let's go."

Jason walked out of the building and did what he usually did. He followed his instincts, they knew more than he did. He began running at a fast pace.

Kathrine waited until he walked out before crouching back down and picked up the small portrait. She tucked it into the inside pocket of her jacket, before she left, running after him.

Jason ran in the direction the felt right. It was going to be over 25 miles, he knew that much.

Kathrine let out a breath, she knew she wouldn't last 25 miles, she would need a break at some point. Even if she was a vampire. She still got fatigued.

Jason kept running steadily towards where he thought it would be. "Tell me if you need a break." He said coolly.
