Jason sat for a moment then it hit him. "Me?" He asked quietly. His mind wasn't comprehending.

He stared into the pond, willing his mind to work and understand. "But..." He said. He recovered after a few minutes. "I do feel the same way," he said still looking in the pond.

Rose smiled, softly. Then looked into the water she frowned, tears dripping onto her red dress.

Jason knew it didn't matter. He was beyond happy, but the happiness soon turned into bitter sadness. He was stilla peasant and she was still queen. Nothing will ever change that. He saw she was crying and put his arm around her.

He held Rose close and kept himself from crying by staring into the pond. He recapped his life for the millionth time since he had moved into the castle.
