Jason looked down at his shirt. "It's nothing, the bullet didn't fully hit me." Jason said. He took the bottle.

Rose frowned, handing him Anna. "Still." she says. "Stay here, don't move." she said. Running off.

Jason watched her go with a sigh. He took Anna and let her drink from the bottle. He looked at her warmly and smiled. She was hungry.

Rose came back with a first aid kit. She dabbed a cloth with disinfectant. Then placed it on the wound. She wiped the blood away.

Jason realized what she was doing when it stung. He looked at Anna and concentrated on her.

Rose the wound up gently. Tying the bandage together, holding it in place to soak in further blood. Rose went and put the kit away. She came back and kissed Jason's cheek softly. Then looked down at Anna.

"Thanks." Jason said looking at Rose. Then he looked back at Anna who had just finished the bottle.

"You're welcome." Rose says smiling. Laying her head on his shoulder. Watching Anna fall into a soft sleep.

Jason smiled and watched Anna sleep. He pushed away the thoughts of his cousin, at least for now.

Rose stroked Anna's cheek gently. Then kissed her forehead.
