Nicole, being one of the most popular girls in this ity bity town, could go anywhere and have people crowding her in seconds. She was one of those girls that manipulated people into doing what she wanted. As she walked down the street, she flipped her hair and let her peircing blue eyes scan her surrondings. "I could use a drink." She mumbled to herself as she neared the bar. Being her regular self, she made sure all eyes were on her as she entered the bar and sat down in a chair that complimented her strong legs, one resting ontop of the other. "I'll take a shot of the strongest thing you got, and make sure it's in a long shot glass." Nicole said, slipping money onto the couter as the bar tender nodded eagerly and stumbled around, searching frantically for a bottle of strong alcohol. Just before he returned with the glass and a clearish, black liquid, Jesse walked in and sat beside her. "Hey Nicki." He jeered. Nicole rolled her eyes, why is he always such a dick? She thought to herself then glanced over at him with a look of disgust. "Hi." He smirked, knowing he'd gotten under her skin. "How you doin'?" He asked and ordered some whiskey. "I'm fine. Why are you talking to me?" She asked and scowled as he shrugged, then finished her drink and left, grabbing her purse.
Miya looked around her empty house then down at her hands. She was sitting on her loveseat when she looked out her window and sighed. Why must it always be so quiet and lonely? She thought to herself then stood. After countless hours of pacing, she decided to go outside and get some fresh air.
Jesse took a swig of his whiskey then finished it. He ordered another and slammed down some money. "Ah...you might as well just leave the bottle." The bar tender slowly nodded and took the money. Jesse put the bottle to his lips and chugged it down then set it on the counter and left. He was slightly drunk, but not so drunk that he couldn't get home.
Valerie walked around in a field. She found a low tree and sat on one of its branches as she stared out at the grass and beautiful flowers. This had always been her favorite place to be, the middle of the forest, in this meadow with purple, blue, red and white flowers. The grass grew long and was soft here, and just a little ways away, was a waterfall and pond. So much peace and serenity, always so beautiful, the way the sun shone through the trees and made everything look alive.
Allison looked around her house warily. She desperatly hoped her mother wasn't home. Upstairs, were loud footsteps and she sighed. "Allison Marie Von-Duke!" Her mother called in a raged voice. "I'm down here mom." She called back with a broken tone. She was in trouble, but she knew that from the minute she walked through the door. It was either because she was late or because her annoying little brother did something and blamed her. Her mother came storming down the stairs and grabbed Allison's wrist and pulled her upstairs. "Look at that! Why would you do that!?" She screamed at her. Allison stared blankly at her mother's bed, then around the bedroom. Things were on the floor, smashed, other things were ripped apart, a mirror was broken as well as a window...but worst of all, there was grafiti on the walls. "Mom...I didn't do this." She said weakly as her mother shook her violently. "Don't lie! You did!" Then after yelling at her daughter, she slapped her across the face.
