Kat walked into D.A.D.A ignoring potter as she went to sit beside her friends. "So?" Sam inquired as Kat sat down. She was just about to tell her the truth when Mark sat down on the other side of her giving her a soft kiss. Ugh. I just washed my lips. she thought but put on a smile. "Things aren't always what they seem." she whispered to Sam leaving her confused.

Scorpius sat at the back of the class with Cord and Kyle waiting for Slughorn to arrive. He was curious on what was wrong with Lilli but wasn't going to prod her any further. She was probably terrified of him but he'd just have to show her he wasn't that bad a guy. It was hard to do that though when Cord set a first years hair on fire. Scorpius muttered the counter spell telling Cord they'd lose points if he kept at it.

[blue.]

Proffesor Slughorn entered the classroom and annouced, they were going to make The Living Draught. A Potion so deadly that if made right, a single drop could kill the whole class. But only two people had ever made it. She began chopping ingredients, refusing herself to look behind herself at Scorpius.

James went into D.A.D.A, sitting down next to a really hot girl, the other girl whatshername was old news. Time to move on. He continued flirty with in her discreetly so the teacher wouldn't notice.

Scorpius was quite quiet as he worked and poured ingredients into the cauldron. His cauldron was further away from Cord and Kyle because last time he work with them he ended up having purple hair. He finished the potion and handed it to the professor to examine as he waited patiently.

Kat rolled her eyes at James and went to talk to Mary who was glaring at the two angrily. "You know you deserve better then that right?" she said trying to cheer up the girl.It had barely been a day and he was already onto another girl must be a new record. "Anyways I'm just saying, revenge is always sweeter." Kat grinned devilishly before making her way back to her friends. She kinda hoped the girl would take her advice cause it was about time someone taught James a lesson.

Lilli worked hard as she crushed and sprinkled ingredients into her cauldron. 6 years ago, she would never even have thought of such thing but then on her eleventh birthday, a letter had came claiming she was magical and here she is 6 years later.

James snuck the girl a small kiss and held her hand. She was quite pretty but she wore too much makeup and she was quite loud. James looked over at Kat and mouther, ' Remember quidditch match after D.A.D.A!'

"Need any help?" Scorpius asked Lilli his voice gentle not wanting to scare her away. His friends were too busy trying to figure out the potion to see Scorpius talking with the muggle-born. "And I'm always free to talk if you need need someone to talk to." He added not wanting the girl to have to cry herself to sleep over whatever upset her. It was always better to get feelings out then keep then bottled in but Scorpius doubted she wanted to tell him anything.

Kat continued ignoring James and went back to reading The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection. She hated this class most of all but knew Witches and Wizards and to learn to protect themselves. She just thought it was strange to teach dark things in school even though they weren't exactly teaching dark magic. Mark slipped her a note saying he wanted to talk to her after class and gave him a nod wondering what he was up to this time.

'Im fine.' she whispered then suddenly Slughorn says ' Class, gather round and each of you come up one at a time, to smell this potion, it should smell like what attracts you.' Lilli moves away fom Scorpius and goes up nearer Slughorn, trying to peer over the tops of people's head to see.

James sighed and mentally slapped himself. He start reading Dark Forces: A Guide to Self Protection. It was actually quite interesting, maybe if he started reading, he would make him look sensitive, sweet and caring not that he wasn't already.

Scorpius wasn't that close to the potion but was close enough to smell just a hint. It was strange it smelled like something indescribable. Then it hit him what it was. It smelled like Lilli. Confused he re-treated to the back of the class where Cord and Kyle were playing a game of Exploding Snap with two other girls. "Wanna play Scorpius?" asked a girl named Lexxi. He nodded and sat down beside her. "I smelled vanilla mix with roses what about you?" The girl ask trying to start a conversion."Lilies." Scorpius replied but after seeing the strange faces the boys were making he added "and Firewhiskey."

Kat drummed her fingers to a muggle song she knew. Class was taking too long and she could feel something inside her bubbling as she long to take her broom and run out of class. Kat closed her eyes and let the song in her head take her somewhere far away when a sharp voice snapped her back to reality. "Kat!" The teacher looked at her strenly as she held the teachers gaze for a while before look away. She let out a sigh before continuing reading.

Lilli walked up to it and breathed in deeply. She smelled Rose Soap, Sandalwood Incense Stick, The smell of freshly brewed Coffee and Men's Cologne. She smiled slightly, they were some of her favourite smells after all. She sat back down at her desk, her quidditch match was soon and she couldn't wait to be on a broom with the wind whipping around her. The seeker on the other team was Harry Potter's son, James Potter. So she had quite a bit of competition.

James sighed in relief as the bell rang, he wandered over to Kat, smirking. ' That guy looks disgusting but anyway, we'd better go and get ready for the Quidditch match.' He grinned and waited for her reaction to his first comment.

"Better looking then you." Kat replied bumping into James before walking off. The sun warmed her face as she closed her eyes and took advantage of the few minutes of solitude she had. It didn't last long as someone's shadow fell above her without opening her eyes she knew it was Mark as she stood up to face him. "You better quit hanging out with that Potter." He said gripping her arm tightly. "Your hurting me." Kat said trying to escape. She sought desperatly for a teacher but it was just the two of them.Why was I so stupid to come out here alone? She scolded herself.

Scorpius said good bye to his friends who were going to go watch the game. He'd catch up later right now he wanted to unpack the rest of his things and headed down to his room. Like most boys Scorpius's room was untidy but some how he managed to find everything as he owl Artemis hooted in disapproval. He smiled and stroked the owls feather feeding him a couple of treats. "Wanna go watch the Quidditch game?" He asked as the owl hooted again as if to say yes.

'Why?' James said stepping out of the shadows, okay, he had been following Kat as he was going to jump out on her, ' Is it much because Im much sexier than you and a girl magnet so your scared I'll steal her away?' He finished. He had a dark look in his eyes, ' Is this how you treat girls? Girls are like flowers, if you break them, they're not going to grow back to you.' He said laughing evily at his play on words before punching Mark in the nose.

Lilli walked to the Ravenclaw changing rooms, where everyone was getting changed in there own cubicle. She put on her gear and then the team had to wait until the audience were sitting down until walking out.
